Fab Freebie: A Cultivated Kitchen

Sorry for the hit-and-miss quiz taking y’all. Apparently you guys enjoy a good quiz as much as we do! Anyways, the lucky (random) winner this week is… Kate Bateman (who was able to get a quiz result and said her “Traditional” diagnosis was almost spot on). Congrats!

I bet most of you guys spent a fair amount of time in the kitchen over the last few days, and if it had you yearning to make some changes in there, you’ve stumbled onto the right giveaway. The folks behind some of our favorite stores (West Elm, Williams-Sonoma, and Pottery Barn) have a sister site chock full of kitchen inspiration called Cultivate. In addition to photo galleries, expert advice, and a blog, they’ve also got one of our favorite ways to kill a few minutes: a Find Your Style quiz. Just pick your favorite between 10 pairs of photos and get ready for your diagnosis. And to help you put your kitchen prescription into action, they’re giving one of you a $200 gift card to use at Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, or West Elm. Sweet. Update: We hear the quiz is still running very slowly/crashing. Looks like Cultivate wasn’t quite ready for all of you quiz-loving folks. So sorry about that, guys!

    CULTIVATE ME! My style is “transitional” which I think is very true! We just bought our first house and the kitchen is super modern – I’d love the opportunity to give it more earthy and classic (transitional?) touches!

    CULTIVATE ME! I took the quiz and came up transitional—which at first surprised me but then after reading it and looking through their suggestions I was like, “yes…transitional!!!!”

    Cultivate me!

    The website said my style is Modern. I was surprised because I like comfortable, cozy kitchens. Apparently you can have a kitchen that is cozy and modern! I thought modern was more futuristic than my style. I do love the modern kitchen photos. My 1952 kitchen is getting there… :)

    CULTIVATE ME…I got ‘Transitional.’ I think it’s pretty dead on, seeing how I think transitional is hard to define. Eclectic. Yes. Super modern. No. It’s a hodge podge of all the good stuff!

    Cultivate ME! (pretty please) My style is transitional. I thought my style was modern with natural accents (bringing the outdoors indoors) or maybe ahem…Petersik style!! Ha! Well, you learn something about yourself everyday!! Crossing fingers for the big win.

    CULTIVATE ME!! :) Mine turned out to be Transitional which is bang on! I love clean lines but the warmth and character of traditional elements. Fingers crossed, I could really use that gift card!! Thanks for the chance to win!
