Fab Freebie: A Cultivated Kitchen

Sorry for the hit-and-miss quiz taking y’all. Apparently you guys enjoy a good quiz as much as we do! Anyways, the lucky (random) winner this week is… Kate Bateman (who was able to get a quiz result and said her “Traditional” diagnosis was almost spot on). Congrats!

I bet most of you guys spent a fair amount of time in the kitchen over the last few days, and if it had you yearning to make some changes in there, you’ve stumbled onto the right giveaway. The folks behind some of our favorite stores (West Elm, Williams-Sonoma, and Pottery Barn) have a sister site chock full of kitchen inspiration called Cultivate. In addition to photo galleries, expert advice, and a blog, they’ve also got one of our favorite ways to kill a few minutes: a Find Your Style quiz. Just pick your favorite between 10 pairs of photos and get ready for your diagnosis. And to help you put your kitchen prescription into action, they’re giving one of you a $200 gift card to use at Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, or West Elm. Sweet. Update: We hear the quiz is still running very slowly/crashing. Looks like Cultivate wasn’t quite ready for all of you quiz-loving folks. So sorry about that, guys!

    CULTIVATE ME!

    The quiz says my style is Modern. Not so sure about that, as for a lot of the kitchens I liked them both a lot, or disliked them both a lot. I don’t like my kitchen to be too sleek, and I like some clutter. I also found myself choosing the kitchen with the most counter space, rather that focusing on the style. I covet counter space.

    CULTIVATE ME!! The quiz was right on! I took the quiz and the result was Transitional. The images that came up after were me to a Capital T :)

      Wow that quiz took a lot of effort ha ha. I got Transitional not sure I would choose the kitchen posted with Transitional style but I think after a few tweaks I could love it.

    CULTIVATE ME! My style was Transitional…not shocking since we have a older ranch that I’m trying to drag into modern day while still respecting the house’s age and history.

    p.s. – I totally thought the post was going to be a cultivated marble product giveaway and was like…NO.WAY! If anyone could resurrect an old product though, it would be YHL!

    Site didnt work for me but…I’ve always leaned towards rustic wood tones but recently I’ve switched it up a bit and would love love love to re do our cabinets white. We paid a lot for the beautiful cherry that they are so I feel like we need to take advantage of that before we go the white route!
