After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…
Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.
And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…
- PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

I want to redo our kitchen and paint our ceiling bright blue
Samantha Liz says
ADLER ME!
Our kitchen walls are a bold shade of red and we have turqouise accents throughout! A sink in riverby would look AMAZING! The purist faucet is beautiful as well. :)

I currently rent (with plan to buy REAL soon) so our pops of color have to come in the form of accessories, paintings and furniture to liven up our home. Our tomato red couch and bright yellow armoire are two of my favorite things!
Mallory K says
ADLER ME! When we moved into our house, our kitchen counters were an ugly green. I wanted to bring a punch of color in, so we painted the walls a bright, sunny yellow. They are the brightest walls in the house and add a punch of happiness to that room, which is great until we can afford to rip it out!
Angela DQ says
ADLER ME! WE bought a cherry red bookcase from Ikea and use it in our kitchen as pantry storage- it adds a nice pop of color to an otherwise beige-y room.

We bring color into the kitchen with our collection of Fiestaware–it’s kind of an obsession of mine. :)

ADLER ME!!
We’re currently in the early remodeling stages of our kitchen, so we don’t have much color YET (a colored sink would help…haha)…but we just painted the walls a grayish green color, our cabinets are SOON to be white, and I’m just waiting for my husband to finish building our Pottery-Barn-Inspired kitchen table so I can buy a BRIGHTLY colored table runner and a fun vase for some flowers!
Heidi says
ADLER ME! Adler me a little of that Annapolis Navy – it would complement the pops of color I currently have, mostly in the form of bright enamel dishware. That and a very ugle mauve counter top that’s seen better days…
Wendy says
Adler me! We brought in color in a BIG way. Our cabinets were the 1980’s oak cabinets that are just plain ugly. We decided to paint them – the tops ones white and the bottom ones a robin’s egg blue. We LOVE the blue!
Angela Wilson says
ADLER ME! Our kitchen cabinets are white and would look great with an additional pop of color with one of these sinks!!
Kate Schneider says
ALDER ME!
We brought color into the kitchen with a bright rug and accessories, teapot on the stove, hand towels, on-the-counter utensil holders, etc. It balances the blah cabinets and blah floor.
Melody Strayer says
ADLER ME! Hmmmm. Now that you mention it, I perhaps don’t have much color in my kitchen. :(

We have white cabinets with black and gray accents going on. A little modern for my tastes, but one day that’ll change….
Lisa says
ALDER ME! I am currently trying to bring more color into our entire house, taking inspiration for you guys! The kitchen has a new fabric roller shade I recently DIY’d using a geometric pattern in teal, and limey green. This is totally out of character for me and i was shocked to see how well it flowed with the rest of the kitchen…then I bought industrial Lyon brand stools for the island in their “Wedgewood blue” which is a bright fun pop! LOVE it!

Best giveaway ever. This goes in my dream kitchen–but I can’t decide among yellow, green, and Palermo blue. All work with my color scheme.
Adler me!
My kitchen has grassy green walls, but not much wall space, so color comes in the form of Charley Harper bird plates, “fridge art,” and rugs/towels. Plus, the view outside the window into my garden reveals a lot of color.
Wendi S. says
Adler me! I love the blue sink and could build my kitchen around it since we’re closing on our first home the end of this week!

ADLER ME! We have a couple different blues in our kitchen now but it needs refocusing so this sink would be just the best!

We are moving in just a few weeks. The kitchen will be mostly white with a small splash of wall color and fun rugs. I’m considering some colorful chairs/barstools too…maybe red!

My pop of color in our open-concept ranch is the bright yellow on our walls. Guests new to our home are always surprised by the color and fall in love with it. Perhaps a navy blue sink would go well with it. :)

ADLER ME! I have green and yellow kitchen decor. My favorite is my yellow keurig.
Chelsea says
ADLER ME! We painted our walls a grayish blue and have pops of yellow with canisters, spoon rest, and towels. We used gray curtains to balance.

We currently do NOT have much color in our kitchen! We have a renovation in the works and one of these sinks would be the perfect jumping off point for our whole makeover.
The only touches of color I have currently is my pistachio green Kitchenaid stand mixer and colorful tea towels.
Shannon Rogacki says
ADLER ME! My kitchen is painted the color GOLD BUFF! It is a happy bright welcoming yellow accented with bold bright colored bowls. Yes! We love it! Especially with all of the beautiful vegetables overflowing from each bowl right now!

ADLER me!
My fiance and I are in the process of buying our first home and the KITCHEN is one of the most important rooms in the house – a lot of kitchens we’re looking at could use an upgraded sink and the pop of color would give it great character, I’m loving the Palermo Blue!
Caryn says
ADLER ME! Currently redoing our 1970 kitchen in greens & blues. Old paneling walls & upper cabs got a light, fresh avocado green, and lower cabs a pale aqua! Yay for color!
Dianne says
ADLER ME! I recently painted my living room aqua and have started bringing some bright colors into the adjoining kitchen. Right now the boldest splash of color in the kitchen is the aqua-ish dog treat canister.

ADLER ME!!
We have neutral walls and typically tend to be pretty vanilla in our color style, BUT we recently bought a green couch – Green! And we love it. Now slowly but surely we are adding pops of color here and there!
Kate says
ADLER ME! Our mostly white kitchen is brightened up by pops of vibrant greens in the rug, curtains and accessories.
Carrie says
ADLER ME!
I am a huge fan of color, and my kitchen shows that off. Red table, teal clock – but I think my bright-ass pink tea towels brings the room together in a delightfully colorful way.
Candace says

We’re actually planning on a budget kitchen upgrade: painting the cabinets white, replacing the countertop (black), and a white mixed-material backsplash… so I guess we are taking color OUT of the kitchen! However, everything on the countertops (that are currently a hideous molted black & green nonsense) is colorful: flour/sugar canisters in colors, striped fruit bowl, colorful kitchenaid… No lack for color!
Katie F. says
ADLER ME!
The color in my kitchen currently comes from the dish towels!
Melissa M says
ADLER ME! Our walls are yellow and I also have pops of color on our kitchen curtains and dishtowels

Adler Me! Unfortunately we are in a very tiny, cramped apartment right now with an ugly apartment, but at least our dinners are colorful and fresh! I’m loving that aqua sink! Would look great in my future dream home!
