After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…
Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.
And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…
- PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME! Wow, those sinks and faucets are gorgeous – what fun colors! Unfortunately, I’ve just realized that my kitchen is actually very much lacking in color. I think I would have to say my cooking and baking adds the most color to my kitchen. Although I do have a set of beautiful ceramic mixing/ serving bowls from Crate and Barrel which are nice and colorful. Thanks for another awesome giveaway!

ALDER ME! I rent, so not much color going on right now but…I buying my own place and am so looking forward to adding lots of color!

ADLER ME!
We have a robin’s egg blue accent wall. I love that it isn’t the whole kitchen so I can change the wall (and my dish towels – because who doesnt like pretty new dish towels) any time I want and be in a new space.

We are saving for a kitchen reno but for now we have the former sewing table that functions as our kitchen island painted a fun yellow.
Amanda says
ADLER ME! We just moved and our inherited kitchen has white cabinets with black granite countertops and a sky blue glass subway tile backsplash. It looks as mis-matched as it sounds! We like to add pops of color with textiles like dishtowels, placemats and napkins. Before they were gently dried in the sun, we also had lots of blue hydrangea from our new yard!
Anna says
Adler me!!! The greens and blues would make my kitchen pop!
Victoria says
ALDER ME!
My kitchen has crisp white cabinets, warm gray walls and the accent colors are Blues and Greens.
Shauna says
ADLER ME!!
I have recently found a few free printable sites online that have some really colorful subway art and pictures. Im in the process of bringing color in with the art and with some new curtains! Hoping soon I can also find some dining chairs to upholster to add another kick of color!

ADLER ME!
Im working with a very boring kitchen in my 60s rancher! I painted the cabinets white and the walls are a dusty blue, so I could certainly use that pop of turquoise in a sink, and those faucets…oh my!
Thanks for this amazing giveaway!
Brandee says
ADLER ME!!!
I am still loving the tile backsplash we put in for color. And an apron sink would be my dream!!
Susan says
ALDER ME! Currently it is just our dish towels and accessories! But this would be great!
Jeanne says
ADLER ME!
My kitchen is beyond all hope.
Erica says
ADLER ME! Funny the first thing we are doing to put color into our kitchen is to take color out. We have this old house with terrible hunter green cabinets. I am scraping paint little by little and we are painting the cabinets white. Then we plan on Gray walls with bright yellow accents (yellow is my favorite so I bet you know which sink color I am swooning over)
Victoria S says
ADLER ME! Our color comes from our Shamrock Fiestaware, which I hope to start augmenting with Plum, Turquoise, and Cobalt soon!
Hilary @ My So-Called Home says
Adler me! I actually love whites and neutrals myself so our kitchen is all white. To add color we painted the ceiling BM’s Quiet Moments.
Christa says
ADLER ME! I actually love to bring color into the kitchen through the use of dish towels! Most of my small appliances are black (like kitchen aid, utensil crock, toaster over, coffee maker, etc.) and we got these series of dish towels from crate and barrel that are bright green, aqua, yellow, and red so I like to switch those out because it makes our kitchen so fun and cheery!
Kim says
Alder Me!! Love to add pops of red with accessories around the house!!

ADLER ME!
Everything changed in our kitchen when I painted the Red-wine colored walls a fresh mint color. (Winterfresh by Behr). I also used a Granny Smith apple green as an accent color. I’m ready to get new countertops and can only imagine how amazing one of those sinks would look !!

My kitchen has some cool green cabinets, so it’s pretty colorful already. But I am always looking for more ways to add color.
Ashley says
ADLER ME!
My kitchen is very open, so the only real colorfulness in there are the red accents that tie into the living room and dining area that are both attached. Rugs, frames, and ceramic chickens and squirrels!
Sharon says
ADLER ME!I painted our builder beige kitchen cabinets a beautiful cupboard blue! A new palermo blue sink would be a wonderful pop of color!
lindsay says
ADLER ME!! PLEASE!!!!!!!! We are in the midst of trying to “liven u” our very small kitchen without spending much. I am going with a retro look and the most recent pop of color would have to be the “big fork and spoon” i found at an antique shop that was already painted red!! I would adore a new sink and faucet!!!!!!!!!!!
Ashley says
ADLER ME!! The most colorful thing in my kitchen is actually my backsplash. I live in an artsy neighborhood and the previous owners put in a backsplash that is basically a mix of tiles in different colors and sizes including yellow, aqua, purple, blue, black, white, tan… It’s kinda awesome.
Emily says
ADLER ME! Those sinks are one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a long time! We could definatly use some color, a LOT of blue’s going on in our kitchen right now. That poppy sink would look SICK!!
Lauren says

We keep things simple and white on the walls and cabinets with color through our cookware. That Riverby sink would look mighty fine as an accent. :)
Kelly says
ADLER ME! We recently painted the walls a cheery orange color and brought in some more color with art. We’re saving our pennies now to replace the countertops…a new sink would be a great start!

Asriel Yousefi says
ADLER ME!
We are redoing the kitchen in our 1950s home and are going with a “Green” countertop. And by Green, I mean recycled glass, wine and beer bottles set in concrete and brushed with a dark glaze. The kicker? The glass is green and amber colored (think green winebottles and sam adams beer bottles).
Karen says
Adler Me!!
I chose a peachy Goldenrod for the walls & hung two really big paintings with lots of color in them on two blank walls. Then I added cafe curtains in a really bright plaid (they were shower curtains in a former life).
