After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…
Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.
And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…
- PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME! This kitchen is in need of some major upgrades –cabinets and countertops — they’re from the 80s! Minor upgrades have been made — replacing 80s country wallpaper with white ceramic tile laid on the diagonal with a row of navy to better define the space, a gorgeous light blue paint, and new appliances. Why do cabinets and countertops have to be so expensive?! I don’t want to do anything else until we can make those major changes that really pack a punch, then we can really have some fun in there. Our color currently comes from flowers, an accessorized bookshelf, and a valance over the sink window.

Right now I just have colorful gadgets and photography in my kitchen, but I’m working on getting a place of my own so that I can actually paint the walls and really do some fun stuff!

Our kitchen was already painted a pretty turquoise when we moved in. I never would’ve picked it for a kitchen, but we love it and it definitely gets complimented every time someone visits our home for the first time!

ADLER ME!
I want everything to be rainbow colored all the time so I love to go to Marshall’s/Ross/Macy’s clearance/Tuesday Morning and get spatulas, bowls, etc in all the colors (for cheap)!
We also always have a jar of jellybeans on the counter which I like to think jazzes up any room :)

Our kitchen has bright yellow walls – perked up the drab medium oak cabinets and white/gold/yellow counters. Not saying that if I won, I’d go with yellow, I might rethink the whole kitchen – cause that turquoise color is heavenly :)

ADLER ME!!! Yes oh yes. I just repainted the bottom half of my dining room white and the upper half tan. I collect Blue Willow dishes and my kitchen has a pale green tile that I am unable to remove anytime soon. A new sink and faucet would be so lovely! Thanks for the opportunity to win.

ALDER ME!
Our kitchen is pretty neutral with greys, stainless steel, and stone. We did open up that side of the house (took down some walls) which opens the kitchen to look at our major color pop, our bright red smooth plastered fireplace in a room with all our colorful art.
Anne Marie says
ALDER ME! I have been adding colors with fresh flowers from the farmers market this summer.

Wooo! Awesome giveaway! Currently our kitchen is red (which I thought I’d love…but actually really don’t like at all). We’ve just decided that we’re going to repaint it gray and add pops of color – in the exacts tones of the sinks above! I’d love that bright blue one!!

We’ve got a great guacamole color on the walls and we accent our whole house with the colors throughout the house – guacamole, dark teal/turquoise, orange, red, yellow, tans, whites. Lovin’ it!
Would probably aim for the yellow double sink in prep for the kitchen remodel later this winter or next spring, along with the simplice faucet.

We brought some color by painting the walls sage, but have bright red pops all over – our oven mitts, our Kitchenaid, our teakettle, our mixing bowls, and a nifty vintage-looking clock we just got from Target!

I’ve been collecting Fiestaware dishes since I was.. 16! My moms friend had a huge collection (of the old stuff) and when I was young, I fell in love! My mom decided that she would start buying me a piece or two here and there so that by the time I had my own place, I’d have my favorite fiestaware dishes! :) They certainly add color to a kitchen!
Erin says
ADLER ME!! I just had two colorful rugs!
