After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…
Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.
And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…
- PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

Our kitchen is just waiting for us to have the money to completely gut and redo it. We have open cabinets right now so our dishes (mixing bowls, etc.) with their reds, yellows, and greens are what gives our kitchen its color.

Adler ME…!!!
The kitchen is MY ROOM. We completely gutted it, even took out the entire outside wall, all the floor joists, etc… (My husband did all the work). I painted it with a friend without discussing it with my husband. The walls are an “Under The Tuscan Sun” yellow,(Hubby calls it school bus yellow), the trim is painted purple. Our custom built pantry has some sage in it. My appliances are hot red. I LOVE MY KITCHEN, it feels like a cottage garden and always makes me happy. But It would look even better with a beautiful yellow sink.

ADLER ME!
Kitchen color is the most challenging for me. After painting my kitchen 3 different colors, I ended up with a homemade mix of brown and green that surprisingly turned out a muted purple. It’s not horrible, but it’s practically impossible to touch up, so I’m going to have to repaint it. As for other more palatable colors, I have accessories (dishes and vases) and a refrigerator full of artwork and postcards (on the outside).

COLOR ME!!
Our cabin is all white with a fabulous apple green wall in the kitchen. But the kitchen is in desperate need of an update so this sink would be the best starting off point!
