After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…
Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.
And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…
- PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

Adler me! I mistakenly painted the ceiling a lighter version of the wall color. It would probably work in a room with more natural light, but we only have one window. Oops! :)

Not being able to afford to redo the kitchen, I’ve brightened it up with robin’s egg blue paint on the walls and a $5 roll of contact paper with cute blue and brown dots (that look a bit like penny tile) for a backsplash. My turquoise-y dishes bring in more color too.
Maegan says
ADLER ME! We are renting so I haven’t added much color in the way of decor besides an apple green rug. But I do cook on a daily basis and HATE cleaning up after myself. A cheery colorful sink would definitely put a smile on my face as I did the dirty work!

My kitchen is pretty neutral, so I can interchange different pops of color. light gray walls, solid white countertops, light gray tile. Pops of color include yellow, green, blue, and orange! How cool would a yellow sink look against my ALL white countertops…? LOVIN IT!

I painted my kitchen cabinets before even moving into the house, and now the doors are all an egg yolk yellow (I painted the cabinet boxes white). I love how bright and cheery it is, and how it pops off the grey walls.

We recently put up our own granny smith apple green beadboard and some green and white accents in the kitchen! We’d LOVE to have an apron sink to match!

I try to bring in fresh flowers – though usually only works during the summer growing season.

Right now we have very little color in the kitchen thanks to builder generic finishes. Not a lot of open wall space to add it in either. These sinks are awesome!
Bree says
ADLER me!!! Well right now, I have some of my kids’ paintings hanging on the walls for color. We just moved in and I haven’t had a chance to add color to this room. Our tile is brown and our cabinets are black…I’m having a tough time deciding which direction to go, but I NEEEEEED a new sink and faucet. These are awesome!
Mattie says
Adler me! Not much color ’cause it’s an apartment, but we use colorful towels

ADLER ME! Kitchen is painted light grey/blue with a bolder blue accent above the sink. Colorful accessories add to the charm and let us change it up.

We are currently renting and living with a very old kitchen, so I bring in some flowers sometimes to add color and also with some towels. A cool new sink would be awesome when we decide to buy (maybe the house we’re in)!

Our kitchen is pretty neutral aside from the pops of color brought in by our pear Kitchenaid stand mixer (which is super close to the Greenwich Green above!) similarly colored tea kettle and trivets etc!

I’m saving up to redo my kitchen so until then I bring in color with some fun dishtowels, pot holders and FLOWERS!

ADLER ME! I try to bring pops of color through flowers, also we recently found out we are getting a stainless steel woven back splash behind our stove from my parents for my husband and my anniversary.

This is perfect timing, we just put in an offer on a house and the first thing I want to tackle is the kitchen. Those sinks are awesome. Thanks :)
Angie says
Adler me! I just canned for the first time–14 pints of tomato sauce–so that’s the lastest color in my kitchen!
Mo says
Adler me. Don’t have much color now, but I definitely would if I won that!
Maura says
adler me! Love this give away – a colored apron sink – wow!
Erika H. says
Adler me! Well my walls are a boring khaki but I try to bring lots of greens and yellow in with my rug, window treatments and a fun DIY chalkboard , a little orange too (:
Courtney says
ADLER ME! Sadly, the kitchen is one of the few rooms in my house that’s still lacking much color. I have SO much color in the rest of the house (and the outside, too) that I thought maybe I should tone it down a little. Or not…
Lorna says

I’ve been adding pops of aqua and red to our kitchen, mostly in the form of kitcheny items like measuring cups, cake plate, pitchers, etc.

So far it’s been a flowering plant by the sink and colorful hand/dish towels.

WOW! Those sinks are absolutely amazing! Those colors are so vibrant and refreshing! I have an older kitchen that we are hoping to remodel soon. Its sorta the country blue color right now so adding color is a must. How I do that is with adding colorful fuits in my fruit bowls and zesty kitchen towels to hang on my stove to add that zing of color splash. I would DIE to win this givaway! Good luck to you all!!!!

Our kitchen is currently a light yellow but we’re looking to reno the whole thing and a cheerful sink would be a welcome addition! :)
Heather says
ADLER ME!
This sink and faucet would be going into a kitchen that is currently without walls (I guess that makes it all tan wood-colored), so the sky is the limit in adding color in the future.
Karen B. says
ADLER ME!! I would love a kitchen sink in yellow since my kitchen is currently blah tan and white. My only pop of color right now is my Fiesta dishes, which make me smile. A sink that matches would make me smile REALLY BIG!!!
Krystle @ Color Transformed Family says
Adler me!
It would be a tough choice between the yellow and light blue. We are in the beginning stages of renovating our kitchen and we are using both of those colors. I would love a new kitchen sink!

We have a bold peach in our kitchen currently, but I would love to repaint and add splashes of color….with for example….a new sink!
Claire says
ADLER ME! We’ve got gray walls with pops of color and this bright sink would be perfect!!!
Lindy says
ADLER ME!
We don’t have a lot of color in our kitchen just pops here and there, bowls, canisters, etc. All of these little accents really pop against our white cabinets and butcher block counter top so this sink would be an awesome addition!
Dail says
ADLER ME! The splash of color in our kitchen comes from a large red bowl that sits on top of the frig. There are some other pops of red as well.
Holly says
ADLER ME!
In our new house we’ve added color to the walls in almost every room.

ADLER ME!!!
We have red towels, red canisters, and a red toaster. Hmm…I think I like red :)

When we bought our house the kitchen was a bunch of taupe and dirty-mustard! We painted the cabinets crisp white, installed butcher block counter top and then embraced color on the walls with a vintagey tourquoise! We use art and fun dishes/accessories with Reds and blues for pops of color all around. A colorful sink would be a much appreciated update!
