After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…
Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.
And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…
- PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

Right now, I have paint chips taped around the kitchen until I can finally make a decision on what color I want (bought the house in January…help meeeeeeeee). Then I’ll take those ugly light brown cabinets and paint them white!

Our kitchen wall is now a happy teal color!

ADLER ME! I painted over the burnt orange in my kitchen when I moved in, painting it a pale yellow (BM Antique Lace) and have an accent wall of dark blue (BM Summer Nights). It reflects my china pattern, which is blue and gold (Lomonosov Cobalt Net). Beautiful and soothing, but modern with the light wood cabinets and stainless appliances.

I haven’t gotten to the kitchen yet in my house-decorating circuit, so for now the most colorful things are the cakes i’ve been baking. :)

I did a stencil on one wall of the breakfast nook of the kitchen. It took forever but I love it! While a gray-blue isn’t a vibrant pop of color, it’s better than my green laminate countertops! Can wait to replace those!!
Gloria says
ADLER ME! Yep…that’s right.

My kitchen (and entire house) is filled with color. I have a gallery wall in the kitchen that includes art I’ve picked up here and there. It includes one print from 20×200 with a giant piece of cake that says “Yes please.”

We don’t have much color in the kitchen, however when there is color it usually in the accessories. I have Lenox Chirp china and most of my kitchen utensils, etc. are Martha Stewart’s line which is like a tiffany blue color. I also have a collection of antique blue mason jars on the window sill.

Sadly, my kitchen needs color. We bought a house sorely in need of a makeover and the first thing we did was paint the entire kitchen white. It was a step up from the 60’s yellow wallpaper and faux marble laminate. Now it’s time for some color!

Dawn says
Adler me! Our bold color is dark brown walls in our kitchen, it’s different but it works for now while we have original cabinets. I’d happily repaint and paint cabinets to put in a cheery colored sink!

We are currently in the planning phase of renovating our first home, which happens to be a 90 year old home. A sweet, new, colorful sink would be an awesome start to help guide our color scheme for the new kitchen.

Just painted the kitchen a light blue/gray to compliment the peacock colored walls in the dining room. Added
splashes of red throughout, goodbye blah beige!

I would LOVE a new yellow sink!!! When we bought our house it already had a bright orange hood that we love so that is the main source of color in the kitchen. That and the hand-painted flowers on the 1970’s tile. A yellow sink would fit right in!
