      Thanks Sarah! We email the winner but sometimes it goes to spam, so scrolling back to the giveaway and looking in the Rafflecopter box after the contest closes is a nice way to double check (it displays the winner’s name there for all to see).

    A lot of times (like 99.9% of the time), I forget to check the Fab Freebie post to see if I’ve won. Does the winner get notified automatically either by you or Rafflecopter, or do I just need to be a responsible adult? :)

      The Rafflecopter box that you use to enter displays the winner when one is chosen (so clicking back to see it after it ends on Thurs/Fri is a great way to check). We also email the winner as well, but sometimes our emails go to spam :)

    I like that you have just one entry and we don’t have to “like” a bunch of different sites, or tweet or instagram anything in order to add more chances to win like I’ve seen on other blogs.

    It’s really refreshing to have a giveaway that I don’t have to do 511 things to get an entry. I already follow your blogs on Feedly and Facebook and Instragram, but it’s nice not to have to prove it every time before I enter a giveaway. Thanks! :-)

    If I have an address in the US I can ship to can I enter your US only giveaways? Or do I have to be a resident?
    I’m located in Canada right by the border and there is a shop in the US that I can ship to.

      That would be smart! Will have to try to remember to do that. Sometimes we choose images on site’s homepages so there isn’t a name or direct link there (sometimes they’re just gallery type images, etc) but when possible that would be nice.

    I have a totally unrelated question that I dont believe I remember you tackling. Thanks to procrastination we had 8 burnt out lights in our house and went off to lowes to replace them. My husband was begging for LEd, and we got a few, but the bigger question was which type of glow did we want. Soft glow, incandescent, day light, bright white. It was really overwhelming and they give you tips on what kind of rooms work best. So we got daylight for laundry and closets and I guess will keep soft in living areas. But holy smokes, what a huge contrast between the rooms. My husband thinks our laundry room looks like a hospital,but now I think the rest of our house looks yellow and dim. So all that to say, what types of light bulbs do y’all use and what type of glow? And do you keep it all the same?

      We like soft glow the best (day light and bright light are too cool for us) – although sometimes there’s something called warm white and that has been the best we’ve found so far. We prefer to keep them all the same throughout the house (although admittedly sometimes we get different brands and there might be a slight difference).

      Melissa, this issue hit us in the main (guest) bathroom.

      We have a bath bar where the light bulbs show so we use those pretty, round, incandescent bulbs.

      The ceiling fixture is a flush mount so we used our “normal” curly bulbs.

      Problem was that the counter-side of the bathroom looked warm and the tub/shower side looked cold.

      With a little research, we bought some EcoSmart 60W Soft White curly bulbs at Home Depot (Model #ES5M8144, Store SKU #423599).

      Now, both sides of the bathroom look warm.

    I already receive Home Decorators catalogue, and have seen some great items I’d love to have in my home!!

    I really like the color scheme you are building for your son’s room.
    I’ve used a color called Coastal Fog, by Benjamin Moore in several rooms in my house and really love it. It’s a gray with a bit of a green tint, depending on the amount of light in a room. You might be able to use it somewhere in your nursery since you’re playing with grays and greens…..just a thought :)
