Who knew bamboo could be so beautiful? Well actually, the people behind Smock Paper did. They also know that bamboo is one of the most earth-friendly sources of paper out there. By relying on it, along with other recycled materials, and by incorporating other green practices into their shop, Smock Paper is truly a wonderfully sustainable operational located right here in the good ol’ US of A. Oh, and of course they make very pretty things.
You may have already heard of Smock Paper from our monthly sponsor shout outs, and if so you probably remember them for their stunning letterpress greeting cards, party and wedding invites, and the like. Just like all of their other products, these colorful items come with an eco-tastic spin. Like the memo pad above whose letterpressed bamboo cover protects 90 sheets of 100% post-consumer recycled paper. Or the cube of 700 sticky notes below that also comes from recycled paper.
While those items could dress up your office nicely, they’ve also got graphic beauties like double-sided wrapping paper, gift bags and even gift boxes that all boast punchy designs on recycled materials that would certainly dress up your next gift or look great in your home office.
Now let’s get on to how you can enter to win:

If I’m sitting at my desk it goes straight into my Outlook calendar – can’t live without it. BUT if I’m in my car the notes go on the nearest paper I can find, be it receipts, Starbucks napkins or already-written-on Post-Its. =)

I am a sticky note fanatic! I have found the best way for me to remember things is to write it on a sticky and then post it on the outside of my computer. When I’ve done whatever is on the note I recycle it to avoid too much clutter. I also carry a small notebook in my purse for jotting down info on the run.

BAMBOO ME
I take notes constantly! I end up with post-its all over the house, stuffed in my pockets, in books, in my organizer, in the car, and in every cranny of my purse. I know it sounds unorganized and chaotic, but I swear it works for me and things still manage to stay pretty neat and tidy. I’ve also been a huge Smock fan for a while now, so I’m excited at the chance to have some fun office items!

BAMBOO ME!!
I cut papers from the kids school (the ones I don’t have to sign and return) or misprints from my own printer into quarters. There’s a little Ikea basket on my desk that houses my scratch paper. Perfect for short shopping lists, jotting down phone numbers, or even reminders of cool blogs to visit!
Carmel says
BAMBOO ME!
I use a vintage style off-white plate in my kitchen to jot down reminders and a running list of what we need from the grocery. It sits on an easel and I use a dry erase marker – so it’s super easy to wipe off and write something else. It’s totally green too- completely replaces a paper notepad. Oh and the best part is when I’m not using it as a notepad, I use it for serving! I love products that give you options! More bang for the buck! I got mine at Willow House! Love it!
I’m also big on keeping a little notepad in my purse :)
Kate says
BAMBOO ME!
I am obsessed with post-its! I go through tons for my to-do lists and notes-to-self. I could really use some nice cards. I love writing my friends letters. Whats better than getting snail mail?
