Who knew bamboo could be so beautiful? Well actually, the people behind Smock Paper did. They also know that bamboo is one of the most earth-friendly sources of paper out there. By relying on it, along with other recycled materials, and by incorporating other green practices into their shop, Smock Paper is truly a wonderfully sustainable operational located right here in the good ol’ US of A. Oh, and of course they make very pretty things.

BAMBOO ME!
I write all mine on scraps from work and then shove them in my purse only to be seen months later when I have to clean my purse out.
Monica says
BAMBOO ME! Smock’s stationery is just so lovely!
Although my husband has been downloading multiple iphone apps for me to use, i’m a natural born list maker the old fashioned way, with paper and a sharpie, preferably.
I have a desk calendar and still take a paper list to the grocery store with me and keep the week’s menu on the fridge. I try to use scrap paper whenever I can, but the idea of having some cute Smock goods to jot down all those things makes me giddy!

I use an assortment of google tasks, post-its and my memory. It’s not exactly efficient.

Emily says
BAMBOO ME!
I am so old-school and still use a paper calendar/organizer. I jot down notes for each day in that.
Leanne says
BAMBOO ME!! I write notes all over, including in google calendar tasks list, my day planner, on sticky notes in my day planner, on the backs of envelopes and receipts, and on the magnetic note pad on our fridge. Despite this quintuple-check system, I have still been known to forget some things on my lists!
Steph says
BAMBOO ME! I have a Moleskine pocket notebook in my bag that I use to jot down notes and lists (including my weekly groceries). On my desk at work, I use the backs of junk faxes that come through to scribble notes or feedback or random other things that I get from all my client phone calls. That sheet of paper is always here by my phone so that I’m not scrambling for pieces of note paper or sticky notes when a phone call comes in.

BAMBOO ME!
At work I have sticky notes all over my office. I can’t help it. I’ve tried to stop, but I can’t.
At home I use an iphone app called Paperless. I love it…it helps me stay organized (I’m definitely a list-maker!) and cuts down on our paper usage.

BAMBOO ME!
I just almost typed bamboozle me, which has such a different meaning :-)
Anyways, I have one of those post-it note dispensers on my desk so I write all my notes on post its. It’s great until I have to try to make sense of all the random notes stuck ALL OVER my office. Or if I have to find 1 note in particular among the identical masses. I could definitely use a different system.

BAMBOO ME!
At work, I have a bin of brite colored scrap-cardstock that gets the job done. At home, I have a notepad on the fridge for groceries and such. On the go though….usually the backs of receipts, and then those pile up like you wouldn’t believe. Sigh.

i keep my lists in an august-to-august calendar – i’m a bit old school in that way, but i can keep many different lists of short term stuff (groceries) and longer term stuff (like stuff i want to do the following summer). it totally works to keep my ideas straight and follow-up-able!
Kathryn says
BAMBOO ME
I have billions of colorful sticky notes all over my desk at all times!
Liz says
BAMBOO ME!
I am a lister through and through, but I’ve given up the paper lists and notes recently and gone digital. I rely heavily on iGoogle’s “To Do List” and “Sticky Note” gadgets for all of my listing needs. And they’re accessible on my iPhone, so I’m never far from anything I need! Gotta love reducing all the purse clutter! Plus, I have my calendar in iGoogle too, so it makes for a beloved organizational hub. I think I might be in love :)

I’m a Post-It-aholic. They cover my desk, my laptop, my planner. Before I got GPS, I even wrote out directions on a Post-It and stuck it to my steering wheel! Never underestimate the value of small sticky squares of paper. :)

Bamboo Me!
I have a few different note-taking strategies. I keep a very sad and wrinkly looking mini-notepad in my purse at all times, which also holds my to-do lists, grocery lists, and so on. For “urgent” notes, I leave myself post-its in places that I’ll definitely see.
Kara from Kara's Korner says
BAMBOO ME!!
I’m such a scatter brain when it comes to notes…I put them on any piece of scrap paper, memo board, or notepad that I see. Whatever is closest and most convenient gets my note! I do generally remember where I wrote it down though, so that’s at least a plus. I don’t lose them!
Nicole says
BAMBOO ME!!
Notes are keep in little notebooks I picked up at Target (http://irregardlesslove.com/2010/08/27/item-alert/)
or, if it’s project specific, I write them on index cards.

I am a note-writing, list-making FREAK! I carry a cute little spiral in my purse and I jot everything down from grocery lists to paint colors to future house purchases!
Since my tastes are so broad and I am constantly changing things up, I find it asolutely neccesary to write evertying down!

Bamboo me… I finally used up my handy-dandy pad of post-its, and have graduated to cute little notepaper in a cute little notepaper holder. I love it, and now want cute versions of all my paper needs!
Sarah Beth Eady says
Bamboo Me! I am awful about keeping pads around and usually end up writing notes on whatever I can find an envelope, the back of a receipt, pretty much anything I can find. I would love to have some notepads to stop this awful habit!
Kim says
Bamboo me!!!!
I write notes on whatever is in front of me. Stickies, scraps, phone reminders, back of receipts, anything! My quest to be organized and remember things often leaves me in a pile of scraps looking for what I wanted to remember!
Lizzie says
BAMBOO ME! Love these pieces and am in need of some new stationery. I try to send 3 pieces of “real” mail a week and these would be perfect.
As far as my own note-taking goes, I keep paper in my purse, use the notes function on my blackberry, and try to have a magnetic pad on the fridge (although we ran out and need a new one)
Rebekka says
BAMBOO ME!!!
Oh my gosh, I am a note-making fiend! I have multiple little notebooks and pads all over the place so that wherever I need to jot down an idea or something to remember, there’s always paper at my fingertips!
Catherine M says
BAMBOO ME!
I’m a compulsive note taker! I wish I could stick to using one pad to scribble on for my personal notes, like I do at work (because there I FILL entire notebooks), but I have a tendency to scribble everywhere…on post-its, pads, receipts, printer paper, mail envelopes, etc etc… anywhere any time! Ironically, the one place I NEVER take notes is on my iphone, too tedious, plus I like to WRITE! ;)

In general I prefer the good old pen-and-paper notes to keep me organized. They’re all over my desk.
Andie says
BAMBOO ME!
I type up short notes on my Droid app “Note Everything” or if I’m in a waiting room and I see an article or product that I just have to have, I’ll take a snap shot of it, I hate more than anything when there’s pages ripped out of magazines in waiting rooms.
