Fab Freebie: Cameo Appearance

I believe it was the renowned Dave Coulier who once immortalized the words “cut it out” on Full House… but I don’t quite think Uncle Joey had a clue what potential those words could hold when it came to the Silhouette CAMEO digital cutter. You guys may have seen Silhouette cutters mentioned around the blogosphere before (our friends Jessica at How About Orange and Nicole at Making It Lovely did some cool projects with theirs). Now Silhouette has released a larger and quieter model called the CAMEO. Basically any design that you can create on your computer can be printed and intricately cut out on all sorts of papers. We haven’t tried it out ourselves, but there are tons of idea starters on the Silhouette Pinterest boards.

    CAMEO ME!

    I didn’t give it much thought but I think it would be nice to bump into Rainn Wilson from the office. He contributed to a great book called Soul Pancake and I bet we could rap about life AND he could make me laugh. Perfect.

    Cameo me! Nathan Fillion aka Castle. He just seems so fun and down to earth. I’m sure he’s just as funny in real life as the character he plays on tv.

    CAMEO ME!! I’m not much of a celebrity follower so it was hard to come up with an answer for this question. I guess if I had to pick someone it would be a wonderful photographer like Eliott Erwitt in hopes that I could glean some wonderful insights. :)

    I think I would like to meet Wishbone. You know, from that show in PBS how many years ago. He might have already gone to heaven by now (that dog has to be old) but i think i’d rather meet a famous dog than a famous person.

    if i met a famous person i’d be all insecure, “oh god! oprah is seeing me in my pjs!”… stuff like that.

    if its a dog i know they’ll like me (i always have a kind word for a dog) and i won’t feel insecure! (heck, the dog probably would forget me as soon as he smelled a fire hydrant!)

    Since Michelle Obama has already made a cameo in my life (I teach snowboarding went to pump for my baby, only to find the room I used guarded by secret service for her ski trip with the girls) I’ll say John Cusack. I really want to have a beer with him, if possible.

    Who I admire seems to change depending on the day, or what tv show I watched recently …. and since I just caught up on Supernatural I would love for some Jensen in my living room! LOL

    Oh, no clue! I’ve met enough celebs that I know they are almost never what you’d expect or want them to be in real life. Not sure I’d want to ruin my happy image of those I like. =) Although, one person various buddies partied with and loved, but I somehow missed daily for about a week, was Owen Wilson. I have always been kinda sad I never met up with them!
    (I used to encounter celebs fairly frequently during my time living & working in both Hawaii and Vegas.)
