Today marks the seven year anniversary of our move to Richmond, VA. Woo hoo! It’s crazy to think that it has been that long, and to celebrate this week’s giveaway is from a city-minded artist: Kimberly of Albie Designs. We’ve had her charming illustration of New York City hanging in our hallway o’ frames for as long as there has been a frame collection there (my sister bought it for Sherry for her birthday a few years back). And now Kimberly has released a Richmond city print.     I LOVE PHILADELPHIA, my ‘new’ city that I’ve called home for 6.5 years (time flies)! but also, I LOVE MINNEAPOLIS and will always have my own ties to the midwest, where I was born and raised.

    I LOVE KANSAS CITY! It’s definitely a hidden gem with a great arts venues (contemporary galleries downtown as well as a huge world-class museum), foodie-friendly restaurants, and interesting neighborhoods.

    By the way, I love this giveaway. Kimberly’s illustrations are amazing!

    I LOVE ALBUQUERQUE!

    for the meth! just kidding! i met my husband there at grad school and adopted my kitty cat there. we now live in NC but love the high desert grittiness as well as the mindblowing natural sites in NM. (tent rocks, white sands, chaco canyon to name several.)

    I LOVE PROVIDENCE, RI

    My father was born there, my grandfather owned a tailor shop on Federal Hill, I graduated college there (go Friars!), I got married there, my father worked there for many years and every restaurant is great. If you ever get a chance to attend a water fire, do it!

    I LOVE RICHMOND!

    I didn’t always…when we first moved here I nearly hated it…but as I grow older and bothered discovering the awesome side of it- I love Richmond. From the local businesses to the unique historical treasures- I love Richmond.

    I love Winnipeg, MB! It’s where I’ve lived almost my whole life (minus some time in Seattle and Ontario), and I can’t imagine living anywhere else – even though it’s really cold here right now.

    I love Louisville!

    My parents moved here from FL. while I was in college and when I came home for a quick visit, I met the man of my dreams! We met, fell in love and were married in Louisville! Love it!

    “I LOVE KANSAS CITY” I know people don’t think there is much to do here, but really, there is a lot! I might be partial because I’ve lived here most of my life, but it really is a great place to live!

    I have lived here my whole life and every few years think I want to move, but then I walk downtown on a perfect sunny day and can’t imagine being anywhere else.

    Toronto is my hometown. I grew up in the suburbs and now I have a tiny place right in the centre of it all. I love love love the food here and the fun atmosphere that comes with living in a large city! Always on the go!

    I love the Blue Mountains, Australia!! It is always cold and damp, especially in an ‘Australian’ summer but its also always beautiful. The valleys and lookouts are incredible. The air is always crisp. And being that I live in a gully just past the very top of the Mountains we always see snow, usually in Spring!

    I LOVE Chicago! When I was in my 20s I lived in a dingy apartment in an old building, but I had the most amazing view of that magnificent skyline!! Now I live in the burbs, but what I want most is gorgeous art of that skyline…
