Today marks the seven year anniversary of our move to Richmond, VA. Woo hoo! It’s crazy to think that it has been that long, and to celebrate this week’s giveaway is from a city-minded artist: Kimberly of Albie Designs. We’ve had her charming illustration of New York City hanging in our hallway o’ frames for as long as there has been a frame collection there (my sister bought it for Sherry for her birthday a few years back). And now Kimberly has released a Richmond city print.     I LOVE ANN ARBOR, MI!

    I moved here to go to grad school, and it is here where I found happiness. Then I met my husband, got a job, bought a house, had a baby. It’s been a great place to be.

    I love Atlanta, because it was where my husband and I moved the week before getting married, started a home together and welcomed our first son. Even though we have plans to move some day, Atlanta will always be a special place for us!

    I love College Station, TX! It’s a small town feel with some of the big city amenities. It’s also the home of the Fightin’ Texas Aggies (WHOOP!). Most importantly, I have a lot of family in College Station, and one day, it will be a great place to raise my own family. :)

    I love Los Angeles! Where else can you go to the desert, the ocean and the mountains the same day. We moved here in 1967 from the midwest and I will never forget the first day I saw palm trees and put my foot in the ocean.

    I LOVE PITTSBURGH! I moved here two years ago as a job transfer in my company slash for my boyfriend. I’ve come to really love my job, my boyfriend and I are 5 years strong and I’ve really come into my own here. This city is great. I really love it here.

    I love Boston. I love living near a city so rich with history. I love walking the streets and knowing so much of our nation’s history originated in those very spots. It is incredible- anyone that visits needs to take a tour!!!

    Maybe not much happening there, but that will always be home :) We moved to the midwest when I was six, but I still consider myself an east coast girl!

    I LOVE Hong Kong!

    My husband lived there for part of his childhood and we got to go back and visit when we were first married. I fell in love with it right away, everything about it. I have wanted to go back and live there ever since.
    Some day….. :)

    I LOVE TORONTO!

    My husband and I grew up here and we are raising our family only 5 minutes away from both sets of grandparents. This is a fantastic multicultural city! Any kind of food that you want can be found here.

    I LOVE CHICAGO! I think it’s the greatest city in the world. We’ve got beaches, shopping, parks (lots of green space), theater, restaurants, public transit, even a free zoo…I could go on and on!

    I LOVE BARCELONA!
    We just traveled there for the first time last spring and I fell in love with its rich history, beautiful architecture, wonderful food, and beautiful scenery including a great harbor area. It’s got a little bit of everything all in one place :)

    Because I was born and raised here. Because of our street festivals and fun summers. Because of our sports teams (except the Cubs -ack!). Because of our Midwest values and our big city charm. Because it’s simply awesome and sweet home Chicago!

    I grew up close to the city, and it’s still hard to compare other cities to New York. I love the variety of people and all the delicious kinds of food.

    Cleveland may have a less than stellar rap, but it’s really a great city: culture, sports (few cities have 3 pro teams), theater, music…

    “I LOVE PORTLAND OREGON!!” because it’s where I grew up! There’s a beach, mountain, and desert nearby, always some festival going on to walk through, and of course, it’s weird. Cheers to keeping Portland weird!

    I LOVE SUNNYVALE, CA!

    It’s where my husband and I spent most of our married life together and where my children were born at home. We lived in a neighborhood where I could walk to pretty much anything I wanted. We live in Spring, TX now and I love many aspects of living here, mostly staying at home since our mortgage is half of our previous rent for twice the size of place. But I still miss walking to the grocery/hardware/yarn/library etc…

    I was born & raised here, and i absolutely love it y’all! =)
    My town is full of history, beautiful buildings, insane architecture, and people who will gladly stop and tell you directions, the best place to eat, and ask you how you are doing for the day. It is absolutely beautiful here, and i am blessed to call it home!

    I LOVE NORFOLK (VIRGINIA)! It’s where the Navy stationed my husband, but we’ve enjoy the weather, the beach and fixing up our 1930’s home.
