Today marks the seven year anniversary of our move to Richmond, VA. Woo hoo! It’s crazy to think that it has been that long, and to celebrate this week’s giveaway is from a city-minded artist: Kimberly of Albie Designs. We’ve had her charming illustration of New York City hanging in our hallway o’ frames for as long as there has been a frame collection there (my sister bought it for Sherry for her birthday a few years back). And now Kimberly has released a Richmond city print.     I LOVE INDIANAPOLIS!

    Who could not love a city that built a racetrack around the itself, posing as an interstate loop, with a speed limit of 55 and a “racing” speed of 75-80!

    I LOVE FLORENCE! I got to go to Europe a few years ago and I instantly felt like I could happily live in Florence for the rest of my life. But of course, Virginia’s the next best option!

    I LOVE SANTA BARBARA! And I’ve actually requested that she make a Santa Barbara print a couple years ago which she said is on her list… hopefully soon. Now I’m jealous you get a Richmond one.

    I LOVE New Orleans! I actually have only recently fallen in love with this city. Its taken me a few years to get over my “culture shock” when we moved. Now, we enjoy the weather, cuisine, and joie de vivre of the city.

    I love Pingyao! It’s this amazing city in China which is preserved in its 19th-century-like state. The partner & I cycled round it on a tandem when I was four months pregnant =D

    I LOVE Chicago!

    I used to go there on family vacations growing up and I have some of the best memories from that city!

    Also, I can never eat enough deep dish pizza, yum!

    Every weekend I re-fall in love with this city! There is so much to do! Culture, food, art, scenery, friendly people. I can’t get enough! :)

      Because my husband and I went there on a vacation last year, and had such a fun time exploring the city, discovering amazing restaurants, and of course, visiting wine country :)

    I LOVE VEGAS. I’m not a gambler, and I really don’t like places that continuously smell like cigarettes, but Vegas is where my husband and I went on our honeymoon. We have some bazaar stories and it was just a blast the whole time. Ahhh…. memories. :)

    I LOVE WASHINGTON DC!

    I grew up here and even though I leave a lot to travel or to visit other cities, coming home into the airport and seeing the National monument from the plane window always relaxes me. I even love the traffic!

    I LOVE AUCKLAND!!! (New Zealand!) It’s home and a great varied city surrounded by beaches on both coasts, forests to hike in within 20mins from the city, beautiful islands to sail to – great place to be brought up, and to bring up our own family (soon!)

    I love Fredericksburg Virginia. Because it is quaint, it is on the beautiful Rappahannock River, it is friendly, and most importantly, it is home.

    I love Winston-Salem, NC! We moved our family here from Los Angeles almost 5 years ago and it’s been the best thing we ever did.
