Fab Freebie: Crib Your Enthusiasm

In honor of our new nephew’s arrival this week (he’s scheduled to come via C-section on Wednesday!) we’ve got the mother of all baby-themed giveaways courtesy of LaJobi Industries. They’re the makers of stylish baby and youth furniture and this week they’re giving away an eco-friendly crib and crib mattress to one lucky parent (or parent-to-be).

LaJobi Crib

The Dakota crib by Graco is their first environmentally friendly crib – it’s made from sustainable woods, the dark walnut finish is water based and all the packaging comes from recycled materials. Plus, it looks pretty darn good. You can read all the nitty-gritty details about it on Walmart.com, since they’re the exclusive retailer of the Dakota line (which also includes a changing table).

    My favorite bedtime story is NO bedtime story. Once I get in bed I’m usually so exhausted that all I want to do is go to sleep — immediately. In fact, I stopped asking my husband to “tuck me in” because I typically can’t bear to lay there and pretend to be awake while he talks. Once I hit the pillow, I’m gone! :)

    Oh yeah — CRIB ME! This is such a great giveaway. I have several pregnant friends right now and I would love to be able to give this crib to one of them!

    CRIB ME. My wife is asking me to enter this giveaway so we can win this crib/mattress for our friends who are pregnant. She loves your blog. I always liked hearing excerpts of “Where The Sidewalk Ends” before I went to sleep as a kid!

    What a pretty crib!! Crib me! My favorite bedtime story is Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. Hilarious bedtime fun! Another good one is Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star by Iza Trapani. Buy the Book on Cd and there is a beautiful sung version that my daycare kids HAD to listen to before naptime.

    CRIB ME!

    This is serendipitous- as I am expecting my first child and as yet have no crib!

    As for favorite story- I always liked made-up stories my grandma would tell me when she tucked me in at night… Book story- Eloise at the Plaza… :-)

    CRIB ME!!! I am 5 months pregnant and have been searching for the perfect crib set, however, my husband and I are on a very limited budget. I would be ELATED to win this giveaway and so would Baby G! Favorite bedtime story is “On the Night You Were Born”.
