Fab Freebie: Easily Turned On

So you saw me install this puppy earlier today, and just as we promised we’re back to give you a shot at winning one of your own. The Delta Pilar kitchen faucet with Touch 2O Technology is pretty much any DIY-lover or enthusiastic chef’s best friend because, just as the commercial below demonstrates, you can wash paint, dirt, eggs, chicken goo or any other home-improvement or cooking related mess off of your hands without ever getting it on your purdy fixture.

We’ve actually had ours installed for a week now and I’ve found it extremely helpful even when doing simple tasks like the dishes (yes, I’m usually in charge of the dishes, but Sherry vacuums so it’s pretty fair around here). Rather than having to reach over to turn the handle on and off, I can interrupt the water by just quickly tapping the spout anywhere, and the technology’s even smart enough to know when you’re gripping the faucet to move it (as we do from basin to basin in our double sink) so it doesn’t interpret that maneuver as an on/off trigger. Consider us impressed.

    Biggest turnoff is that smacking noise that some people make while chewing, I think it’s almost as bad as chewing with your mouth open.

    I am so excited about this give away. I’ve wanted this faucet since I first saw the commercials. It’s such a great idea!

    biggest turn off – poor hygiene/cleaning skills, and while this may not be the biggest turn off, it drives me crazy when my husband doesn’t clean out his pockets or take the belts off his pants before putting his clothes in the clothes hamper. Grrr…

    As far as turn-offs for the opposite sex, the inability to listen is a big one – people who just keep talking and talking about themselves irritate me.

    That and not liking dogs, I guess it’s fine but not if you want to live with me! ;)

    As a newly divorced woman, and newly on an internet dating site….The biggest thing that gives me the heebie jeebies these days are pics of shirtless men thinking that’s whats gonna win them the sweet, caring woman they’re apparantly searching for online. HAHAHA. Heck, I love a shirtless man, but let’s meet for dinner first. ;-)

    Touch ME!! I love this faucet! I currently have permits in the City office to be approved for a new house, and I’d l.o.v.e. to have this faucet to build my kitchen around!

    Biggest turnoff is when hubby has talked so much at work that he has nothing left for me when he gets home. I understand, but I still don’t like it. I’d give him some of my girly words if I could since apparently women have more words to use each day than men. LOL

    Biggest turn-off… with personality it’s Arrogance (yet all my ex-boyfriends would claim they were just confident…); with hygiene, definitely bad breath.

    Biggest turn off? Rudeness, and people who are inconsiderate. I really hate that. Oh, and poor table manners. Put your napkin on your lap, that’s what it’s there for.
