    I’m glad I finished the first few sets of handwoven kitchen towels! I’m using a bar code generator to make the stripes, so they actually say something. So far, I’ve done “Love”, “Laugh”, “Believe” and “Faith”. Next up is “Hope”. I’m addicted!

    I have finished (ok, halfway finished) painting our front room in a great blue color that I’m glad I actually love after seeing it on the wall. Only half-finished because I decided to tackle painting all the trim and molding that was shoddily painted (who doesn’t fill nail holes – honestly!) a nice bright white. I keep telling myself it will be worth it when it’s done. You guys have been an inspiration!

    FINN ME! I just finished an interior paint job that ties three rooms together, not in a “match” way, but one in which one complements the next. Coincidentally, the colors evoke the far north – grayed blues, with a little green, white and red for good measure.

    I’m excited to reach the end of my 5 months in between jobs. I’ve appreciated the time to reflect on where my husband and I have come from and where we’re going in life, and to take time to rest and reenergize, but now it’s time to get back to work!
