Well now that we’re more than ready to find a pool to dive into, random.org has picked a winner of this week’s giveaway. The lucky lady is… Cher (who swims about 20 laps each day in the summer). Congrats!
One element in our new kitchen that always makes us smile is the etsy print that we purchased by Samantha French. Remember, the cheery orange and blue painting of the lady swimming (that Clara also sweetly though included some “fishies”)? Well now Samantha is giving you guys a chance to win your very own colorful work of art with a $200 gift certificate to her Etsy shop. So grab your swim cap and bathing suit because that’s enough to snag any of the 16 x 20″ archival prints featuring Samantha’s signature subject matter.
- PRIZE: A $200 gift card to Samantha French’s Etsy shop
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “LET’S GO SWIMMING!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: …are you a swimmer? Do you love going to the pool to do a few laps? Or maybe just to splash around (or lounge around)? Or are you and water not friends?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 28th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: Worldwide!
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Samantha French.

LET’S GO SWIMMING!
I grew up in California with a pool in my backyard (and all my friend’s backyards), and boy do I miss those lazy summer days just hanging out by the pool, making up pool games, and swimming until the sun went down.
Jenni says
LET’S GO SWIMMING! I adore swimming. I feel most at peace and most myself when I’m in a body of water. And this artwork is absolutely stunning!

LET’S GO SWIMMING – You would think living somewhere as hot as Texas would make me LOVE swimming to escape the heat but I’m much more of a lounge and read taking a dip when I’m hot type of person : )

LET’S GO SWIMMING!
I love swimming! I could swim before I could walk but I guess that’s what you get when your family is full of swim instructors and lifeguards. The print “Refresh” actually looks like me and my childhood best friend so I would LOVE to have it hanging in my home :)

Let’s grow swimming!

I swam as a youngster and then took a break for about 15 years. I have just taken it back up in order to compete in a triathalon. I don’t remember lap swimming to be as hard as it is.

Let’s go swimming! My husband is training for a triathalon, so I’ve been going to the Town pool with him a few nights a week. Swimming is tough – I get my booty handed to me every single night!

LET’S GO SWIMMING! I love the water but I am a terrible swimmer! When I was pregnant with my second child I decided it was time to get a pool, it was the only thing that made being pregnant that summer bearable! Now we can’t wait for the warm weather to play in the water!
Michele O says
LET’S GO SWIMMING! I do enjoy being around water, but never officially learned to swim. So I’m still a little petrified of open water without a flotation device.

I was a competitive swimmer from age 4 to age 21 (and then coached a few more years after that). Double bonus, almost every team I was part of used orange and blue as team colors, so I particularly love her color palette!

LET’S GO SWIMMING!
We lived waaaaay out in the country – red dirt road, etc. – so our summers were wildly improved when my parents put in a pool just before the end of my second grade year. We would play until we were exhausted – fun for us, and probably a welcome respite for my parents.
Kate Morris says
LET’S GO SWIMMING! I love to swim…mostly in the pool!
Sarah says

Although she’s only 3 months old I’ve already gotten swimmies, floaties, and a baby pool for her to become an avid water lover!
