This giveaway can be summed up in two words (well, one’s technically just a letter): Z Gallerie.
The fine people at the big Z.G. have been very good to us (you may remember the kind birthday present they recently sent Sherry), and now they’re about to be very good to one of you. They’ve graciously offered up not one, not two, not even just three, but FOUR pieces of their collection to one lucky reader. And we can personally vouch for each item because (here’s our favorite part) they’re all accessories that we’ve purchased for our own home. Yep, consider it your own little Young House Love starter kit of sorts. It includes:
The Large Atlantis Clam Shell (which we use as a fruit bowl in our kitchen, priced at $45)…
…Sherry’s cherished white Ceramic Rhino (priced at $25)…
…and two, count ’em two, Lucerne Sconces (totalling $80):
That’s $150 worth of our favorite items from Z Gallerie. We had to buy ’em all (actually, I think every single one was a birthday present for Sherry at some point) but one of you is going to get them all on the house. To enter just comment on this post with the words “FROM YOUR HOUSE TO MINE!” by Wednesday, May 6th at 8pm EST. And while you’re there, we’d love to hear what you might consider a “signature item” in your home. Maybe something that you think is “so you” or that your friends would say is perfectly representative of your style. This giveaway is only open to US residents and only one entry per e-mail address is permitted. We’ll announce the randomly selected winner on Thursday. Good luck…
Oh, and is anyone surprised that all of the items are white? Didn’t think so…

One of our the rooms in our house is dubbed “the pirate room”. We have a huge collection of antique ship and pirate items and everyone loves it! We get little gifts here and there from poeple to include in the room as well. It’s definitely the most FUN room in the house. :)

A signature item in my house would be a blown up, framed picture of an antique town sign where my husband grew up. How many towns really have the slogan “Home of 1700 Good Eggs and a Few Stinkers”?

“FROM YOUR HOUSE TO MINE!” This is such a great pick-me-up on a Monday! My “signature item” is definitely a signature color. Remember in Steel Magnolias, when Shelby rationalizes her Pepto-Bismol wedding with “Pink is my signature color”? Insert lime/olive green, and that is my motto! I use Valspar’s Jalapeno Jelly in every room in my house. In some rooms, it covers the walls, in other rooms it has brought life to my grandmother’s old hand-me-downs. I love lime green and it loves me! :) Thank you for this awesome offer!

I SO want this gift of fave’s from ZGallerie!!! My signature item would for sure be the 5×7 framed picture that I have on the table next to my comfy chair right by our old upright piano. My parents downsized and tossed EVERYTHING because they were “afraid their four girls would fight over their stuff.” My sentimental heart was crushed! All growing up there was a beautiful picture of an elegant elderly lady playing the piano hanging above our piano that us girls always thought was our Nana who passed when we were young…looked just like her. Anyways, I ended up looking for something similar online and found the EXACT picture! I printed it out on my home printer and have it as a forever treasure!!! Totally makes me smile! Speaking of smiling…that Rhino, Fruit Bowl and Candle Holders would SO MAKE ME SMILE!!! Crossing my fingers!!!

One of my “signatures” is the 21 key that has been passed down through the generations from my British family. It is a British tradition where you receive the key to adulthood on your 21st birthday.

“FROM YOUR HOUSE TO MINE!” I don’t really have a signature piece but I do have a cat theme (which isn’t as awful as it sounds!) I have a 4 picture series of kitty cat profiles and a white ceramic cat like the Z gallerie rhino I found at a local thrift shop among other things!

My signature piece in the house would probably be the green/chocolate brown damask pattern drapes in our great room. Their bold print on our neutral walls are just enough punch to amp up the entire space!

I absolutely LOVE this stuff. As a newlywed my hubby and I are merging our styles and I absolutely LOVE all of these great peices!! We got married (and engaged) on a Cape Cod beach (where I’m from) and had a sand ceremony (instead of a unity candle). So we have a beautiful blown vase that holds our combined sand. This is one of my favorite, signature elements of decor in our NYC apartment =)

I have such eclectic taste, that I don’t really think there is one item that really defines my taste. I do own two items from Z Gallerie that I LOVE. One; a resin alligator head that was featured in Domino awhile back, and two; a white ceramic artichoke.

FROM YOUR HOUSE TO MINE! I don’t have a signature “piece,” per se, but what all my friends talk about are the bright cheerful colors that I use to decorate! From wall colors to floral arrangements, I use bright colors all over my home and they are a great accent to my black furniture!
