This giveaway can be summed up in two words (well, one’s technically just a letter): Z Gallerie.
The fine people at the big Z.G. have been very good to us (you may remember the kind birthday present they recently sent Sherry), and now they’re about to be very good to one of you. They’ve graciously offered up not one, not two, not even just three, but FOUR pieces of their collection to one lucky reader. And we can personally vouch for each item because (here’s our favorite part) they’re all accessories that we’ve purchased for our own home. Yep, consider it your own little Young House Love starter kit of sorts. It includes:
The Large Atlantis Clam Shell (which we use as a fruit bowl in our kitchen, priced at $45)…
…Sherry’s cherished white Ceramic Rhino (priced at $25)…
…and two, count ’em two, Lucerne Sconces (totalling $80):
That’s $150 worth of our favorite items from Z Gallerie. We had to buy ’em all (actually, I think every single one was a birthday present for Sherry at some point) but one of you is going to get them all on the house. To enter just comment on this post with the words “FROM YOUR HOUSE TO MINE!” by Wednesday, May 6th at 8pm EST. And while you’re there, we’d love to hear what you might consider a “signature item” in your home. Maybe something that you think is “so you” or that your friends would say is perfectly representative of your style. This giveaway is only open to US residents and only one entry per e-mail address is permitted. We’ll announce the randomly selected winner on Thursday. Good luck…
Oh, and is anyone surprised that all of the items are white? Didn’t think so…

My signature pieces around the house are my botanical prints that are hung in my kitchen and my guest bedroom. The wonderful thing about them is that they come from a huge botanical prints book and if I ever get tired of one of my prints I can simply cut out a different print from the book- buying it was like getting hundreds of pieces of art for $25 bucks!

I would say concert tickets that belonged to my dad. They are from between 1978 and 1984 and the artists are all rock stars… Journey, Ozzy, AC/DC, Heart, Rush. I have about 50 that he saved and they were given to me after he passed away. They are all framed together and hanging in our hallway. Very special to me!

Definitely has to be the tiny bronze Buddah figurine that we have watching over our front door. I like my house to be peaceful, and he reminds me take the peace with me wherever I go.

And to answer your question–does food count? Specifically, enough homecooked food to feed twice the amount of guests over? Cause I think it should, and its definitely my MO. You guys rock.

FROM YOUR HOUSE TO MINE! The Z Gallerie in Michigan closed a few months ago so we have been going thru severe withdrawal. As for our signature piece, I would have to say my Jonathan Adler pottery collection. We have mostly white vases with a few pops of color, but my favorite of all is our JA bull – he would be so happy to have the Z Gallerie rhino as a friend!

I think most people think of all red pops in my kitchen (fiestaware, vintage drinking glasses, etc.) but I’m also known for my love of white furniture. I’ve been told to put down the white paint brush.
what a great giveaway! The clamshell would look great full of red apples in my kitchen :-)

Our signature item(s) are probably all of our dog Jack’s toys–they’ve started to take over our house to the point that we had to ban his many guests (aka our family) from bringing him gifts–sad, but true!
I would love to add that white clam shell to our little kitchen–I’ve been pining after it for awhile. Thanks for the great giveaway, guys!

In one post, I can’t succinctly enumerate all the things I’d like to come from your house to mine, but these three (really four) prizes are definitely on my list (especially the white rhino). I’ll be holding my breath all week. In the meantime, my husband paints cartoonish looking pictures for our kids’ bedrooms and the playroom, and our home would be much less fun without them. My favorite: a family of frogs. His favorite: a friendly looking red devil playing the guitar.

From Your House to Mine! My signature piece is a wall hanging we received as a wedding present from my husband’s family in Vietnam. At the time, I never imagined getting to go to Vietnam and meeting his family, but 9 years later we were adopting our son in Vietnam and meeting my husband’s family (this was my husband’s first time too!). When I look at the wall hanging I see that God was preparing our home for our son years before we even thought of adoption!
