FIX ME – my bathroom looks like it is having an identity crisis! The counter and border in the shower stall is green marble, but the floor is tera cotta with a very country flower pattern in it. The walls have white wainscotting and the top part is a soft blue color, which sorta compliments the flower on the terra cotta tiles (someone once said the floor tile looks like it came from a mexican restaurant). Worst of all though – the fixtures are flaking gold. It needs some serious help.

FIX ME! We need all the help we can get. We are buying a 1948 home that has only had one owner and very few updates. With one and a half baths the gut plus a kitchen, hardwood floors, windows and painting we have our hands full. Both baths are old dingy and carpeted, YUCK! Add to this a new baby (3weeks) and we are living with my parents. New fixtures would be a blessing. Thanks Moen.

Our bathroom would love a makeover since we havent done anything to it in the 3 years we have lived there!! I would love to replace the shower head & the hardware on the sink!!!
Sara says
FIX ME! My bathroom shower and tub both leak, so my hubby and I use the bathroom down the hall to bathe. I would LOVE to fix our bathroom and be able to shower in our own bathroom!
Ellen says
FIX ME! Our shower is so sad. The tiles are discolored, the bathtub is has rust coming through, and the shower head is a little 70’s builder grade thing that has terrible pressure and a often times a high pitch squeal! At least we save water because you can’t stand it for very long!

FIX ME
I have a bathtub/shower enclosure that rounds all the way overhead to cover the ceiling as well. For some reason, I find it creepy to be surrounded by it like that. Also, it has a lot of holes that have been sloppily patched by the previous occupants. Really, the whole bathroom needs to be updated. The only thing I like in there is the diaper sprayer I installed on the toilet!

fix me!!
would love to update the shower in the bathroom, complete builder grade standard.
Rozanna R. says
FIX ME! The finish is coming off the brass fixtures and well water has stained the acrylic shower/tub. And there is carpet in bath. Ugh
T. Y. Lee says
FIX ME!
Everything in my bathroom needs help, since it doesn’t even exist because the builder actually just DIDN’T put in one of the bathrooms and I’ll have to get it put in from scratch. And we know how cheap THAT is :(
Donna says
FIX ME! Our downstairs bathroom needs remodeling badly!!! All of these fixtures would be of great use!
Krista says
FIX ME! My master bathroom shower is an awful little builder installed box. I dream of a spacious tiled shower complete with a bench and a rainwater shower head. Maybe someday!
Becky says
Fix Me.
The grout in our masterbath is dark and looks like cement. It is very porous and it makes the shower look dirty. We also have cracked tile and are in need of a new medicine cabinet/mirror.
Courtney S. says
FIX ME! Our entire main bath is in need of a complete demo. The counters are super low, there is white tile halfway up the walls, no shower at all (just a bathtub), late 80’s/early 90’s japanese inspired wallpaper, and the original pink floor tile (which was covered with carpet when we bought the place – ewww!). We have been planning and budgeting for a complete redo and it was supposed to get down before Kid #1 made an appearance this past February. That didn’t happen, so now we are hoping for a second chance this fall before Kid #2 comes around 1/1/13. This giveaway would be HUGE for us!

Fix Me! We did a bath re-do about 7 years ago… and with kids, well…it could use a refresher! Fix me Please!
Farah says
FIX ME! We’re remodeling the master ensuite and have a double vanity which still needs faucets. This would help greatly.

FIX ME!!
We just moved into a new house and have been able to update a few things like the kitchen and the floors, but not the bathrooms yet!! And while they are totally functional and great, they are desperately needing new fixtures!! The faucets are perma-crusty! So we would looooovvvee an upgrade! :)
amber peters says
FIX ME! All of the bathrooms in my house need some personality. We built our house a couple years ago, however they all are built with builder grade everything – standard vanities and linoleum. I am not complaining because they are new and not cracked and old, but they are definitely not my dream bathrooms.
Catherine says
FIX ME! We are constantly looking for ways to update a tired and boring contractor grade bathroom! These faucets are awesome!
Meredith says
FIX ME! My bathroom needs serious help!
Kari says
Fix Me! Any upgrade at this point would be an improvement!

FIX ME.
Everything about our Master Bathroom is pretty much beautiful. Most people who see if audibly gasp when they walk into the room. Except for the shower. The shower looks like it doesn’t belong there. (Poor quality, leaky shower head, terrible water pressure.) I am DYING to update it and this would be the PERFECT head start.

In the process of buying an old farmhouse that needs some major bathroom love!
Amanda says
FIX ME!!
Our whole house was flipped, and instead of reglazing the tub, they just painted it white, along with the grout lines. It is in pretty bad shape, so anything to make the bathroom look better would be great!
ERin says
FIX ME!! We just bought a new (old) house that needs a major makeover! Especially the bathrooms, the 1970’s toilets (in dark beige) are too much for me to handle. Only problem: no $$!! I would loooove to update!!
Michelle M says
FIX ME! We’re slowly but surely taking our bathroom apart and making it look like it came from this century. We’ve got a lovely, 1950’s mint green tile on all the walls and the vanity is disgusting. We have sad, discolored linoleum flooring. Lots of work to do still.
Brian says

I would like to update all of my bathroom fixtures since they are to plain.

FIX ME! All 3 of my bathroom needs some love! Seriously, we have a 30 year old house and I’m pretty sure all the bathroom fixtures are original! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Random.org picks me!
Gabe T. says
FIX ME!!!
Oh do I need a fixin. Our bathroom is dire straights! We knocked down a wall in order to make our bathroom a little bigger so our bathroom is a little messy at the moment. We had to move the plumbing and electrical to accommodate for the added space. Right now I have the bathroom framed and ready for tile (thanks for the tutorials on subway tiling the tub btw https://www.younghouselove.com/2010/01/tackling-the-bathroom-chapter-four/)
So when the hard stuff is done, some lovely fixtures by Moen would look oh so nice!
Thank You

… what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
While our main bathroom is just slightly outdated, our downstairs bathroom is a wreck. The drop ceiling tiles are styrofoam. Not “styrofoam painted/textured to look nice” – just white boards of styrofoam. The walls are tile…or rather, big sheets of laminate with etched-in tiles nailed to cinder block. The floors are adhesive laminate. The toilet is one inch from the wall on the side and only 11 inches from the wall in front and that space is partially occupied by a PVC pipe that goes from the wall below an uncovered window to the floor to prevent leaks – the toilet is, shall we say, useful for 50% of occasions. There are no electrical outlets. The shower boasts 4″ tile-encased bomb shelter-like walls. The shower floor appears to be uneven cement. Also, the room hosts a boiler. Which sometimes leaks.
It needs work, is what I’m saying.

Holy bathroom nightmare…3 layers of wallpaper on the walls AND the ceiling. Also, CARPET on the floor. It’s a total mess, but I’m excited to make changes little by little. This would really help.

Our bathroom could use a new vanity with new sinks, and these awesome faucets!
Tonya says
FIX ME! My whole bathroom need updating.
JenB says
Fix me! Our hall bath vanity is ugly and the 60’s, 3 part mirror/medicine cabinet that takes up half the wall is completely off center from the vanity! When you’re standing at the sink, you are looking in the far right mirror of the 3 part cabinet. Uggh. I hate it so much! Did I mention that it’s realllly ugly??
Kara says
FIX ME !!
We just bought our first condo (yay!!) and we’ve spent the last month cleaning, doing repairs, and painting. There’s nothing WRONG with our bathrooms but they’re super boring. We’re getting married in the fall and spending a lot right now on flooring and furniture because we own nothing, so bathroom updates won’t be happening any time soon. New fixtures would totally breathe life into the room :)
The Guillots says
FIX ME!
The master bathroom of our very first nest is covered in brown tile. It could use some shiny new fixtures. And a sledgehammer. :)
Sarah W. says
FIX ME! I’m embarrassed to say how gross our shower tiles/grout are (we are the third owners of our house, so it isn’t all on us), plus our sinks move around on the vanity, and the drain stopper in my sink has been broken since day two of home occupancy. This give away would be a breath of fresh air for our bathroom (no weirdness intended). :-)

We have a corner tub that takes up a ridiculous amount of space and I want to replace it with a clawfoot or some such!
Megan says
FIX ME!
EVERYTHING in our smaller bathroom needs fixed. We gutted it in May from ceiling to floor and are working on putting it all back together. It’s going from 90s “trash bag method” painting in maroon and cream to a sharp coat of apple green and white bead board.
Kelly says
FIX ME! All of our bathroom counter tops are a yellow white color and it matches nothing and add in those builder grade giant mirrors with the plastic clips… it’s just awful!
Carly says
Fix me!
Our 2 bathrooms have original fixtures from 1972 – the worst is the old chipboard vanities and long, skinny marble countertops that are stained. Would love an upgrade!!
Joy says
Fix Me! I only have one bathroom in my home. Its hard to believe that the last homeowners built the house in 1929 and raised an entire family there with just one bathroom. The last homeowners converted the tub to a walkin shower as they aged. I would love a bathtub again! Sometimes a girl needs to just soak away the day!! :)

Our guest bathroom is the ONE room that all 4 previous owners neglected to update. Everything about it screams Brady Bunch.. we need to tackle this project ASAP!!!!
Julie Ann says
FIX ME!!! Where do I even start? Everything in my bathroom needs to be updated and fixed! The previous owners took the cheapest route (ever!) when remodeling and the peeling brass fixtures need to go far, far away!
