Fix Me! Right now it’s a toss up between the old, very small, shower head and the hole in the side of the vanity cabinet.
Elizabeth says
FIX ME!! I need to fix the nail pops in the ceiling. I’ve been putting it off for way too long!
Suzanne says
Fix Me Please!!!!! Our vanity/mirror combo is soooo ugly and the light fixture over it is not even centered. We have been struggling with what to do with it for 7 years and we can’t seem to agree on anything……Thanks for the chance to win
Staci S says
FIX ME! We need to replace our main floor shower from 1940 which is literally on it’s way falling into the basement.
Hannah says
FIX ME! Our little Virginia colonial was built in 1950 and the bathroom is still all original! It’s a tiny bath room that I share with my husband and three boys, so it could use some spice!

“FIX ME”
Our hall bathroom is tiled with, what looks like, marbles. Honest. There are hundreds of little round marbles(they also look like the glass beads you put in the bottom of fish bowls) set into the dingy nasty grout. It hurts to stand on, and is the WORST to clean. I have no idea what the previous owners were thinking! That along with a stained toilet, a leaky pedestal sink, and rusted light fixtures and hardware. They obviously redid the bathroom, but the did it SO badly! We can’t wait to get it looking sweet! Thanks for the chance to win!

FIX ME!
Our bathroom has those lovely builder-grade faucets that accumulate some sort of black gung right where the water comes out. Not to mention it leaks onto the countertop. And our shower has some freaky showerhead that on an arm that does not stay up so you have to hold the showerhead while trying to rinse out your hair.
Lisa says
FIX ME!! Our master bath is old and dated! I would love to get rid of the brass fixtures that are spread throughout the room! We have slowly started getting rid of all the brass in our entire house….it is a slow process and the Masterbath is last on our list because we are the only ones that see it (everyday….), so needless to say it could really use some nice new fixtures!
BethS says
Fix me please! I can’t stand the brass hardware anymore!
Megan says
FIX ME!!
In my master bathroom, the sliding door of the shower goes right up against the edge of the vanity–so you can’t actually open the door because of the towel bar on the outside. Talk about poor planning. We can’t wait to upgrade the entire room.
Zeba says
Fix me!! We have ugly bathroom tile in our rental that we just have to live with. :(
Katherine says
Fix Me! Our house is a time capsule from 1981… its definitely a work in progress!
LauraCinIndy says
FIX ME!!! I could really use an new shower enclosure. I’d love to tear down the 80’s almond color surround and put some new ceramic tile up. One day….
Tracey says
FIX ME, please!!! We are buying a house with dingy old bathrooms that caused me to say “I can’t believe I just bought this” when looking at the fixtures!! The bathrooms will be among the the first updates we do, and this would be an amazing help!

Fix Me!!
Mel says
FIX ME… well, how about fixing the fuschia tiled platform swinger’s tub we got with our master bath?! Or the mismatched 1800s chifferobe-come-sink? Or the corner shower that an average-sized person can’t fit into? :) Please?

FIX ME!!
My husband and I are closing on our first home in 3 short weeks. We are both young architects with big dreams, but unfortunately, very little cash. We are planning on renovating the kitchen and both bathrooms to bring the 1913 Foursquare into the 21st century!
Sarah says
FIX ME!
Just this past week, my husband and I signed the contract for our first home. We are so very excited as this house is everything we wanted! The master bathroom leaves a lot of be desired though, and the showerhead is quite hideous. I would love a shiny new rainshower showerhead for our new home.
Jenn Brooks says
FIX ME!!!!!!! We desperately need new lighting fixture in our bathroom! Very dark in there. Tried lighting it up with some paint, but it still needs a new light fixture we think.
Lili says
FIX ME!
Oh fix me please! I have no bathroom!
It is completely gutted and has been sitting like that for 10 months now. You want to see pics? My bathroom is crying, aching, dying for help. Fix me profavor!
Lindsay says
FIX ME!
Um…I wish I could attach a photo…the hinges on our vanity are corroded and the doors have thus fallen off. Yup.
Gwendolyn says
FIX ME!
Our bathroom has the original (now cracked) 70’s fiberglass bathtub that goes all the way up the wall, with the old, cracking, and peeling fixtures. Yuck!
JennieM says
Please Fix Me! Older bathroom in need of sprucing up!
Shannon B. says
FIX ME!
The list is long but I’ll start with cabinets, faucets, mirror, shower door, floor, wall paint, etc. We have some serious work to do there!
Stephanie says
FIX ME! Actually, my space is not functional at all, so I have quite a few changes I’m saving toward. That said, I’ll be most excited to 1) get rid of the mint/plum color scheme and 2) find a smaller tub and sink to reclaim a few inches. :)
Lauren says
FIX ME! Our master bathroom’s #1 problem is that it is TOO TINY! I’ve never seen such a small space in a MBR… The #2 problem is that everything is brass (well, half of everything – we started DIY’ing but never finished).
Dee says
Fix me! We’re adding a second bathroom and need to do it on the cheap — freebie fixtures would be a dream come true!
Jason says
Fix Me! The hall/guest bath tile is 1970’s brown…it could use an update.
erin says
FIX ME!! Oh please oh please! My bathroom shower has no tile so every time i shower, the paint gets wet and peels away. The way the bathroom is shaped makes it impossible to have a regular shower curtain rod in there, so i’ve rigged a curved one with PVC piping. Oh it’s such a sad bathroom. There is only one towel bar, which is inside the shower…It makes no sense!!! There are sticky remnants on the back of the door of the old robe hooks which appear to have been little plastic hooks that might have held up a sock. I’ll stop there! :)
Sarah says
FIX ME!! Our tile in the shower and on the bathroom floor is awful..it is so dirty and needs to be regrouted/replaced. The whole bathroom could really use a big facelift!
CW says
FIX ME! My bathroom needs some major caulk around the toilet and tub. Our tiles are also super old and could stand to be updated.
cnorris says
FIX ME!! please!!
Jenny says
oooh FIX ME!! Just bought a home and the main bathroom is at the top of the “big project list”, it’s just all around wrong. It’s a “jack & jill” separated into 2 sides with a pocket door and 2 entrances like 3 feet away from each other. Completely unecessary. It needs a complete do-over. One day!!! :)
Becca says
FIX ME PLEASE! Our masterbath is in serious need of an update

Rebecca says
Fix me! I would love to renovate our master bath this year!
Jordan says
FIX ME! It is hard to choose what I hate most about my master bathroom. If I had to pick one thing it would be the ugly forest green tile on the floor. It is ugly on it’s own but when wet it also becomes deadly. Our bathroom has the only bathtub in the house and with two small wiggly kids it is difficult to keep them still and not sliding all over the floor after a bath. Ugh… I hate those tiles!
Betsy says
FIX ME!
I have to go with… the mismatched paint square and the hole from the towel bar that fell out of the wall. Womp womp.
Mike says
Fix Me! Our guest bath could use an update
Michael says
Fix ME Please!
Rachel says
FIX ME! My poor porcelain tub is so stained and I’m just not sure I’ll ever find the right cleaner to make it better. Good thing I have a very cute shower curtain to hide it from public view!
Amanda says
FIX ME! Please! We’re saving up money to remodel our entire bathroom – it’s out of the 1980’s..complete with florescent lighting :)
Megan L. says
FIX ME! Our 2 bathrooms are original to the 1965 house. We would love an upgrade!
Gwen says

Our 1970s bathroom is a nightmare!
Jess M. says
FIX ME – because we are about to build a house and this stuff is expensive!
Brooke says

I really need to put molding down along the floor–it was removed when I had work done, and I never replaced it.
Erin says
FIX ME!
…probably our lovely PINK jacuzzi tub with shower from 1986. I can’t WAIT for it to be gone…especially now that I’ve replaced its companion piece, a matching pink toilet, with a more suitable bone-colored version I found on craigslist.
Tara E says
FIX ME! Our master bath is in serious need of a renovation…and what better time than while I’m on maternity leave!
Meg says
Fix Me!! We are closing on our house this week and can’t wait to work on the 60’s pink tiled bathroom in the master!
