FIX ME! We are about to move and the house we are moving to has some need of updating in the master bathroom. The mirrors are the first things I notice…there are two and they are tiny. Seriously tiny!
kim says
FIX ME… I am a bathroom abused by 5 boys under 15, all wild aimers and non-hand dryers! They pulled the caulk from around my 20yo raised sink and something about grout is just so odor absorbant. NOT what you are looking for in grout. I feel like I have been trampled upon by dwarves…
Deena says
Fix me! Our master bathroom doesn’t work at all right now so this would be the perfect starting kit to get it in gear! :)
Stephanie says
Fix Me!
Our Master bath is circa 1960’s. I am not even sure where to start……if I win, with the fixtures :o)
Heather says
Fix Me!!!! My downstairs bathroom has a pink counter top and pink shower tiles!!!!
Kellie says
FIX ME!
None of the hardware matches in our bathrooms. We have gold doorknobs, brushed nickel faucets, old gold-ish hinges… Ugh.
Michele says
Fix me!! We definitely need a master bath overhaul. We moved in to our first house 10 months ago and have been DIYing projects in every room. The master bath had an avocado color tub and toilet, with forest green swirled vanity top and the most 70s psychodelic purple wallpaper imaginable! We have taken down the wallpaper, retextured the walls and are almost ready to install a new vanity light fixture. We are excited to update every bit of this room!
Katie says
FIX ME! Our entire bathroom is in need of an update. It hasn’t seen much of anything since 1964. Especially the toilet, OH MY.
Amelia Walton says
Fix Me! We just moved into a house that was built in 1976 and looks like…1976. We’re taking it room by room, but when you ask about what needs to be updates in the bathrooms, the answer is, yes. All of it. :)

FIX ME!
Everything! We tried to retile our walls but ended up installing a surround. Next, there was a leak in our sink which caused the bottom of our cabinet to warp. Now, one of our lights went out and shorted the entire thing so now we need to replace the entire fixture! :(
Amy says
FIX ME!!!
Several years ago I dropped the soap dispenser into the sink. It hit just the right spot and knocked a hole in the bowl of the sink! My husband epoxied it back together, so it is watertight but awfully ugly.

FIX ME!!!
We are actually just about to move into a new house! And the bathroom has the awesome 70’s tile that has GOT TO GO!! At least it isn’t pink or lavender I guess :)
Katherine says
FIX ME! The fixtures in our master are all brass and very shiny. They could use an update.
Jaime says
Fix me!!!!!
Our family of six, 4 of which are girls, is sharing a 50 square foot bathroom! We desperately need a SECOND bathroom. My hubster is a carpenter so we can do the work. Getting the cash to get the job done is another story. The gift card and fixtures would be an amazing start!!!! I looove the Voss!
Callin says
FIX ME!
My bathroom vanity needs replaced. A leaky pipe created a hole in the bottom of the cabinet. Now our heat & A/C goes into the cabinet rather than the bathroom!
Elizabeth says
FIX ME!! My bathroom tiles (shower and floor) need to be regrouted – that I can fix! The shower that changes temperature at will, however, might just be something I have to live with…according to a few professional opinions. Ah, the joys of a NYC apartment!

FIX ME!
1980s bathroom is the general problem :-)
Trish says
Fix me! my bathroom desperately needs the carpet (yes, carpet) ripped out and replaced with some pretty tile!
Jessie says
Our “builder basic” bathroom would love a little face lift. Thank you!
Valerie says
fix me! i’ve just purchased my first house and while i’m itching to get started on all the DIY waiting for me — the cracking bathroom sink upstairs may be the first thing that has to go!
Erin says
FIX ME! My vanity and mirror are pretty scary. So is the yellow wallpaper.
Jill says
FIX ME! I just bought a house and my main bathroom has to be gutted! I’m just saving money until I can start the renovation!
Emily says
Fix me! Our whole bathroom needs a makeover. We bought it with carpet in part of the bathroom and it’s time to redo it!
tarynkay says
FIX ME! One of the only things the previous owners did was to redo the bathrooom… as cheaply as possible. So we have vinyl stick on tiles in our bathroom in a faux green marble pattern. It is the ugliest flooring possible, goes with nothing, and worst of all it is in excellent condition so it’s hard to justify ripping it up.
Sheri P says
FIX ME!! I’m about to have a baby and need to update our bathroom.
Matt says
Fix Me! Our bathroom vanity is peeling right off the cheap particle board it is made out of and it’s also in need of a new facet. This might finally get us moving on the update.
Chatelaine says
FIX ME! Our master vanity needs updating. the cabinets aren’t the greatest and the mirror is way too old hotel for me.
Laura says
FIX ME! The entire bathroom needs an update because it is from the 1960’s with avocado green tile on the floor and walls.
Tamsen says
FIX ME! This would actually be for my parents, who have completely demolished their master bath and are working on getting it back together. aka they need all they help they can get!
Lindsey says
FIX ME!!! Just finished spending all our money on our kitchen in our newly built house ( and I mean ALL our money) and uh oh…still have 2 bathrooms to do! We need everything!
Michaela says
FIX ME! I can’t decide if its the CARPET in the bathroom….yes I said carpet or the faux marble with matching wallpaper. Ooooohhhh I hope i win
Sabrina Snyder says
Fix me! Our new place has two old bathrooms with fixtures from the 60’s…. in a bad way! These items would be heaven sent!
Kim says
Fix me!
Our sink cabinet and sink need updating. They are original to the house and are not too appealing to the eye!
Nicki says
FIX ME! We just moved into a home and in one of the bathrooms, both the sink and bathtub faucets were not working properly. The faucets in the master bathroom were black with mold, and the shower door was in disrepair. The shower is also so small in the master bathroom that you can barely turn around, and you have to turn off the water to shave your legs. And this is a house that we payed a significant amount of money for in a great neighborhood! The people who owned it did not take care of it the way they should have. Sad.
Amanda says
Fix me…
My husband and i ripped off the countertop and have not put a new one in yet so that needs to be fixed ASAP!
Samantha says
FIX ME!
My master bath is original to the house–circa 1981…that means the entire room is desperate!
Veronica says
FIX ME!
One of our two bathrooms will be getting a complete overhaul shortly. It is unusable since we moved in 10 months ago. Our master bathroom has a broken fixture on the tub, which sucks, but wouldn’t be so bad if we didn’t live in TX and we have those little sugar ants that come in looking for water, and the keep coming out of the broken handle. :(
stacia says
FIX ME !!!! Where to begin, pink tub and sink (and not in a cool retro way), the sink not being properly mounted to the wall, the vanity cabinet being set waaaaay too high for the short adults in the house (the kids have no chance of using the mirror),the cheapest off the rack self-install vinyl floor that is cracked and stained, the total waste of space over the toilet,…..needless to say the bathroom is next in line for a facelift, and this would help us out a ton!.
Meg says
Fix Me!! Our bathtub/shower has an old gold and glass shower door that has slipped from its original location. It looks dated, dirty and ugly!
Molly says
Fix me!!
We started a bathroom reno when I was 5 months prego due to the tub leaking into the basement…but we found mold and my pregnancy got complicated so right now, the only part that DOESN’T need updating is the tub/tiles in the shower area. We don’t even have anything on thr walls since we took down the world’s worst wallpaper but couldn’t paint until the mold issue was resolved so it is all wall paper paste remnants, ugh
Corey Harris says
FIX ME!!!
Both of our bathroom vanities are only 30″ tall…but my husband and I are both over 6′ tall! We need to upgrade and elevate those bad boys!!
Lindsay says
FIX ME!
I’d love real tile on the floors and a bathtub that lets me really stretch out my legs!
Andrea says
FIX ME!
Our master bath is sooo bad. Not only does it have carpet throughout (*gasp*), I’m also dealing with old lady floral (and peeling) wallpaper.
Amy says
FIX ME! We have carpet, textured brass fiberglass shower surround, pink ceramic tile, brass and white plastic faucets, and pinkish walls. Oh the shame and horror of it!
Christie Ann Bieber says
FIX ME all of the bathrooms need to be updated to some extent! Floor tiles are cracked or the previous DIYer left too much grout on the floor. The drawer hardware needs to be replaced, vanities painted, plastic faux wood counter tops replaced, new sinks, new faucets, new wall paint. The list goes on and on!
Michele says
Fix Me! Ewww, my master shower from previous owners. The plastic pan makes my skin crawl and the door opens the wrong way! I can’t bring myself to use it.
Hannah says
FIX ME!
I have some cracked, awful, butter yellow tiles (also white with butter yellow flecks) from the 70’s. Vintage isn’t always a good thing!!!
