If you read this morning’s post about DIYing some wood shelves for the nursery, then it should come as no surprise that this week’s giveaway is from Kreg Tools. They’re giving one of you the chance to take home their Kreg Jig, so – no matter your skill level – you can feel like real woodworker.

    I would love to build an entertainment center for the TV… but maybe starting with a shelving project would be a better starting step :)

    Woohoo! My dream project would be to build (or repurpose) an armoire for my crafting supplies so I can work….but then shut the doors and hide my in-process projects. Also storage so it’s all in one place. I want to DIY this so it’s custom for ME! My husband thinks I’m crazy but he might be on board with some new tools!

    I would love to do some wainscoting in our family room with some built in around the fireplace. Just need time and of course a little jiggy would help as well.

    I’m gettin’ jiggy! Um, any project where I get to use a “face clamp”?! ha, the name kills me :) But seriously, maybe some bedside tables? Those can be so unnecessarily expensive and seem like a great DIY!

    Not my woodworking dream, but my dream for my husband’s woodworking skills include some great shelves like yours for all over our home. It would be awesome if he could have handcrafted our daughter’s name in wood letters for her room.

    Where to begin… I ‘wood’ love (nudge, nudge. get it?) for my husband and I to make a small bookcase for my 5-month old daughter’s nursery to display books and little toys that she can safely grab and play on the floor with. I’d also love to make our own headboard and even rework our kitchen cabinets. Actually, come to think of it, there’s probably at least one wood project per room in our house that is on my wish list!

    I am currently tackling the kitchen cabinets, but have plans to build a new farm house dining table (from Ana’s Knock-off Wood site)and two beds for the kiddos! With all the inspiration out here in blog-land, I think I could be busy building for the next few years!

    My husband recently embarked on building me a set of bookcases and I LOVE them! Eager to have him build a number of other pieces–a coffee table, a bed!– and this tool might just be the motivation he needs! :)

    What would I do with it? I would first rip out the most hideous built-in that ever was and rebuild it from scratch!!

    It was a DIY project gone wrong from one of the previous owners.

    Btw, I’m totally going to find a way to build those cute shelves you featured today for our nursery!! Thanks for the info.
