Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    PANTONE ME! My color of the year is yellow! I’m not sure if it’s on my mind because my wedding colors are yellow and gray, but I seem to be gravitating toward yellow in all aspects of my life!

    I’m all about teal this year. Teal and brown, teal and navy, teal and grey, teal and fuschia… such fun and bright color combos.

    PANTONE ME!

    This years color for me is grey. Shades of steel, charcoal, ash, silver… I am loving it all! Thinking of an overhaul on my daughters nursery with some Grey and Burnt Orange.

    Normally I’m all vermillion, all the time, but I’m loving red lately, too (especially paired with cool, pale blue-greens!)

    Pantone Me! I have gone through 3 colors this year. It started with painting all or our nasty pink-beige walls grey. Then it went on to emerald. Now all I want is some fun coral accents to add. :)

    I color of the year is definitely Aqua with Navy running a close second. There’s something so serene about those beachy colors that makes me think summer all year long.

    My colors of the year are probably teal and grey. No matter how much I try to not buy grey colored clothes, it always sucks me back in! It’s my fav neutral shade I guess. Plus who doesn’t love teal!?! Reminds me of the water in Mexico!

    PANTONE ME!

    I’m definitely crushing on the Emerald, but my husband isn’t as gung-ho about it as I am. We are going to paint an antique china cabinet, and I’m dying to bring in a bright, bold color, and Ocean Depths is calling me.

    PANTONE ME!!

    I’m loving everything BLUE. My wedding colors are Navy blue and Hot Pink. I’m finding that I am gravitating towards everything Navy without even realizing it. My poor niece almost got 5 outfits for her birthday that were all Navy and Pink until I realized what I was holding in my had. Then I switched a couple out for Navy and Green! :)

    I have used pantone colors for years being a graphic designer…

    I love ocean depths teal with the green flash/bright green but the honeysuckle would be cheerful with the teal too!

    I am loving a deep rustic orange right now. I love the emerald and I am thinking of adding some to my deck area.

    PANTONE ME! My favorite color of this year (and every year!) is sunny yellow. Also, right now we have various gray paint samples on our bedroom walls, but we don’t like any of them….if I win this contest I’m definitely getting Pantone paint for our bedroom!

    PANTONE ME!

    My 5 year old thinks I’m nuts when I respond “WHITE!” when asked my favorite color. But I’ve been loving pops of yellow and blue.

    I love all kinds of blues, especially combined with bright pinks or yellows to warm things up.
