Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    PANTONE ME!
    I haven’t painted anything recently, but I bought some adorable blankets for the baby (coming any day now!) that are grey and pale yellow. Thinking about going that route in the master bedroom now…

    Speaking of Pantone: I bought this book for my 3 year-old daughter, love it! Maybe I’m secretly trying to make her an architect geek too??

    PANTONE ME! My decor color is definitely grey at the moment. I can’t stop painting/wanting to paint things grey. Probably because I am still searching for that elusive perfect grey that works in our house.

    PANTONE ME! I am in love with Emerald. It has always been my favorite color and am just so over the moon that it is popular and readily available all over the place right now. If I’m not careful my whole wardrobe is going to be made up entirely of this color.

    I’ve been gravitating toward coral lately. Seems to be the color of spring fashions and I keep looking for ways to incorporate it into my house.

    PANTONE ME! The color of my year is always yellow. So far this year, it’s turning out to be Chamomile – Pantone 13-0916, light and mellow.

    Emerald is always my color of the year. I’m a red head so it looks great on me and I love spring and summer so it just fits that it would be my favorite color.

    PATONE ME! I am LOVING bright yellow accents this year. Nothing says “spring” more than beautiful punches of yellow. And it works with almost any other color!

    I am in a serious phase of Banana Yellow. That creamy light yellow is perfect and I wish it would show up more!

    PANTONE ME!

    I’m on board with Honey Suckle. 18-2120. I want to add it into my wardrobe in the form of a blazer, flat, or statement necklace. I want to add it into my house in the form of fresh cut flowers in a vase, or pops of colour in pillowform in my bed. To me, Honey Suckle screams spring, feminine, and fun.

    PANTONE ME!

    My color is definitely a teal, like the gorgeous Ocean Depths one from Patone. It’s a nice versatile color we use a lot in both our boy and girl nurseries, as well as throughout our entire house.

    As much as I love color, my color of the year is grey! I love how at makes a room look polished, and then you can layer in color with the accessories.

    I love all things green and orange…apple green and coral are my favorite shades right now! (not together necessarily)
