Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    PANTONE ME!!!
    I was really excited about emerald being the color of the year. I love green but sometimes its hard to find the perfect shade. I also love teal and slate blue. I have a lot of those colors going on in my house at the moment.

    I’m back to my 90s pseudo goth vibe and am craving burgundies, about 6 months away from the more appropriate season, but I’m loving rich reds right now.

    Pantone me! I have been obsessed with Pantone colors for 20 years! My favorite baby book was the Pantone one and my favorite color is pms288!

    PANTONE ME! I’ve been gravitating toward coral clothing. But I just got new sofas which are making me rethinking my living room… needs some warm rusty red/orange/pink colors to balance the apple green. :)

    PANTONE ME! I have been gravitating towards all things bright. My theory is that if I surround myself with bright enough colors, it will convince the weather to act seasonally approptiate.

    PANTONE ME!

    I have been obsessing over Slate Gray lately! It was the color of my bridesmaid’s dresses and the color of our master bedroom. It looks so sharp against white (whether that being my wedding dress or our molding!) It’s everywhere around me and I’m not sick of it yet! :)
