Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    “PANTONE ME”

    I am still feeling the teal blue, yellows and pops of orange, especially with summer finally in the horizon. I still have yet to paint my daughters room and she is asking for purple. She is 4 yrs. old so I’m hoping to sway her into a sweet grey-lavender…

    PANTONE ME! My color of the year (and every year since the age of 8) is yellow. Love the happiness that yellow brings to my house and my closet!

    I have definitely been hopped up on emerald but I am moving in three weeks and am dying to do a room in cobalt just like that medieval blue!!!!!

    Pantone Me!!!! I’m totally into Navy and coral for decorating and mint and coral for clothes and accessories!!! I love a bright pop of pink!! It’s so youthful and fresh!

    Pantone Me! I totally agree…Emerald has been my color of the year so far :) From skinny jeans in that lovely color to a pop of color here and there in my home, it’s a gem of a color! I’m also loving anything that’s sea-inspired :)

    PANTONE ME! My color of the year would have to be pistachio. We just bought a house that was built in the 1930’s so I’ve been obsessed with all things retro. I’m most excited about my pistachio kitchen!

    Pantone ME!! I am totally drawn to the turquoise family but love the emerald pick for the year. It reminds me of old time wall colors that were paired with the dark brown stained/painted trim.

    This year I’m liking the sage green family, sometimes with a little more beige/brown tone to it, and sometimes not.

    PANTONE ME!! I’m still stuck on dove grey for my neutral and have finally picked my kitchen accent color (a slightly faded turquoise, since we’re trying to keep a 50’s/vintage vibe while removing the original sunshine yellow).
