Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    My daughter is in love with orange and blue. I think splashes of Fusion Coral and Dusty Turquoise would brighten up her room.

    I can’t stay away from corals. I don’t know why. I know that color is “SO LAST YEAR” but I can’t help it, I fell in love :)

    PANTONE ME… I am loving lilac purple! I think it can be such a beautiful and simple color! I have never painted with purple and it sounds like so much fun!

    Since I haven’t bought clothing in almost a year (?) I’ll have to go with my usual standby – a dark teal, more like a peacock blue. Is it cheesy if I say it brings out my eyes?

    PANTONE ME!
    Shhhh, don’t tell Pantone, but I’m really struggling with Emerald as the color of the year. It seems so jewel-tone and rings mid-90s to me. And greens are my favorite colors! So that makes me sad. I’m lovin’ turquoise, lemongrass and any color that helps me match my old brown couches to…anything else.

    I LOVE Ocean depths!! It is like a dark teal, which is my primary wedding color so it has been a large part of my life lately!

    PANTONE ME! The color of my year definitely has to be light grayish blue. It seems to be the only color I can settle on every time I want to repaint.

    Panetone me!
    I love the color eggplant. I’ve had to make myself stop buying eggplant clothes so there is some diversity. Today I am actually wearing an eggplant long sleeve shirt with an eggplant puffy vest over it. Must diversify!!!!

    i think my color of the year would be grey. we are getting ready to paint 3 different rooms and all of them have grey(ish)tones or grey in the name.
