Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    Pantone Me…I would have to say Yellow. Because it reminds me of sunshine a very happy color. And who doesn’t like happy colors.

    Pantone Me!

    I know gray is on trend, but I’m so drawn to it! Also gray, navy and pops of bright pink!

    My favorite colors to wear are raspberry or turquoise.

    We just painted the outside of house a deep blue with just a touch of green, so that’s going to have to be our color of the year!

    My color of the year? Daffodil yellow. I can’t help myself. It’s on my front door, it’s on my new garden stool, it’s on some living room pillows! And I just want more.

    My color of the year for interior decorating: Turquoise
    My color of the year for personal fashion: Coral

    I LOVE calming greens and blues for houses. And while I also love those colors for my wardrobe, I’ve been finding that this season, bright corals and oranges and pinks have been winning me over! Yay for color!

    I’ve been looking into starting up a small refurbish/repurposed furniture business.. I’m 22, work at Pier 1, and fresh out of college (aka broke).. SO I could totally use this. I actually just bought your book last week at Barnes & Nobles (which was honestly the first time I had heard of you).. picked it up out of the blue and let me just say I haven’t put it down. GREAT ideas guys! LOVE your work.

    As for colors.. (which I happened to write my senior thesis on) lately I’ve been obsessing over coral.. while Pier 1 is obsessing over teals so I’ve also been falling in love with them, too.

    PANTONE ME! I’m obsessed with this orangey-red color. Persimmon, maybe? But for my clothes only. Oh – and navy. Lovin’ me some navy right now.

    PANTONE ME!

    I am in love with Peacock Blue. It’s a paint color from Glidden. It’s absolutely my new favorite. Trying to resist the urge to paint every room this color.
