Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    I’m loving peacock blue, like Pantone’s “Ocean Depths”. So pretty! I can’t get enough of it :)

    Only one??? My fave would have to be the Ocean Depths, but I would love to see a room done in Cloudburst with Dandelion accents!

    PANTONE ME! Obsessed with coral and gold tones, but only in my mind. I can’t seem to work up the courage to bring it into the house (good heavens what it’s WRONG??) or wardrobe (not freaking warm enough and I’m not freaking tan enough), but it’s lurking. Lurking coral/gold.

    My color of the year would be red, or maybe yellow, or it could be a rich jade green, or maybe a deep fuschia. See, that’s why I need to win this prize, because I could never, ever choose just ONE color!

    Well, since i’ve painted 5 rooms in my house all the same gray in the last 6 months, i’ll have to go with gray but I LOVE pops of blue, green and orange!

    Pantone me! I’m still in the grey and green phase, though I’m starting to delve into some corals and an occasional peacock. So I’m going to stick with any of the lighter green tones and some moody charcoals for now!

    Pantone Me! For my house I have been drawn to black and white, but in clothing I’ve been going for corals and pinks (which is very out of character).

    I love emerald but my closet is definitely filled with lots of shades of blue. I try to mix it up but always go back to blue.

    PANTONE ME! I have been gravitating towards coral-y pinks and mint lately, which is weird considering my wardrobe is mostly black. Apparently i need more color in my life.

    I’m still stuck in Tangerine mode…I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of a sunny, bright orange greeting me in the house.
