Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    PANTONE ME!

    I’d say the color of my year is Plum purple b/c I’m currently planning my wedding and that’s my main color. But I’ve gotta say that outside wedding business I’ve been really loving mint…it’s so fresh! Lol…

    Pantone Me!!

    Trying to sell a house right now and our realtor asked that we paint all our walls a boring neutral color that is seriously depressing me. As soon as it sells and we buy our new place I want to paint a room gray with a teal green accent wall.

    PANTONE ME!

    It depends on the avenue. In my house gray and red.

    In my wardrobe, mint and yellow.

    But at the end of the day, my favorite color will always be Crayola’s Cerulean. You see that color all over my graphic designs.

    PANTONE ME!

    I am all about Lime Green this season! I spray painted some pots a lime green color and have bought some bright green plants for my container garden as well. It is just such a cheery color, can’t help but smile every time I see my bright colored pots and plants.

    pantone me: orange. weird b/c i went to a college and our rivals were orange. so i felt like i was never allowed to like it. but i do. orange.

    PANTONE ME: I love all things green but turquoise is one of my favorite colors. I grew up in New Mexico so it is “home” to me!

    PANTONE ME!! I had a bouquet of daffodils on my table at Easter and this has inspired me to add yellow accents to my kitchen!

    I grew up a huge fan of blues but then started crushing on purple. However, recently it has tended now to be more of a coral color. Interesting how much we change our preferences…

    Mint, grey, and coral are my current color cravings. Trying to purge the browns and tans that seem to be taking over my house.

    PANTONE ME!

    I’m liking apple green a lot more than emerald. But the color I’m really all about is peacock blue. I painted an accent wall in Havasu from Behr last summer and enjoy watching it’s hue change with the light each day. Then I thought it was perhaps too bright and not quite enough peacock — more little boy’s room. So I was googling peacock blue colors and admiring this really clean room with white trim . . . turns out it was your guestroom, LOL! Doh! I have two quarts waiting to try that color out as soon as I can brave more painting.
