Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    I’m feeling lots of navy blue this year. I’m planning on painting my boys’ bunkbed a crisp navy to fit in with their turquoise & lime green themed room!

    PANTONE ME! For me, this year has been all about grey. I can’t get enough of it! I still love teal and dark purple, though.

    PANTONE ME!!! The color of my year seems to be gray, especially in my living room and all the tshirts and sweaters I’ve purchased this year. Although yellow always holds a special place in my heart.

    I actually love their “Koi” color from the fall fashion report (17-1452) – I’ve been really into oranges, but more of a muted rich tone than a bright tangerine.

    PANTONE ME

    Ultra white is the direction I seem to lean on everything from paint colors to clothing lately. Maybe because everything outside still looks so dirty and drab.

    I think my color of the year is aqua-ish seafoam. I keep finding myself picking up shoes and jewelry that color.
