Fab Freebie: Gone Fishing

Our two lucky winners as selected by random.org are… Susie (who doesn’t like fish, despite her former employment at Red Lobster) and Sarah (who especially loves Maryland crab, shrimp, salmon, and freshly caught smoked trout). Congrats ladies!

Back when I lived in Brooklyn there was this cool dishware store down the street called Fishs Eddy that I loved. Last Christmas I even bought Sherry two coffee mugs from there. And now, in what can only be called a full circle moment, we’re teaming up with them for a giveaway for you guys. They’ve got tons of fun colorful patterns so we’ve put together three around-$50 prize packages of our favorites: the Food Bank pattern (which benefits the NYC Food Bank), the always-classic 212 New York Skyline pattern, and the playful Charley Harper pattern. So each of our TWO winners will get to pick their favorite collection and take it home.

    Fish me! I love all fish/seafood. Lately I haven’t cooked much of it because it’s hard to get really fresh seafood in MN and it’s important to me to consume it responsibly (health/environment).

    FISH ME!

    I love almost all seafood, except for the squishy stuff. I don’t like squishy-textured food. So, things like jumbo shrimp are out. I love small shrimp though – yummy!

    And crab is to die for. I’m craving a crab sandwich now – thanks a lot! :P

    Fish me! I love shellfish and sushi, but find cooked fish (tuna, salmon, etc.) to be too fishy. How weird is that?

    FISH ME!!! For years the only kind of fish I could stomach was haddock…now I can do shrimp, crab and scallops too!

    Seafood is growing on me. I swore I hated it in high school and now I’m all “Pad Thai with shrimp, YUM!”. Its weird but I definitely enjoying trying new things!

    I love seafood – – with a catch (no pun intended). It has to be wild, sustainable and as local as possible. No exotic fish for me.

    Fish Me!!!! I love,love,love seafood! If I could eat it every day I would! However, when I was in France as an exchange student, I ate a bad oyster in a half shell and haven’t eaten them since, which is a pity, because when they’re fresh, they’re so good!

    I’m not a big fan of seafood but I haven’t given it the chance. I need a nice blackened halibut to start my journey I believe.

    FISH ME!

    Do I like seafood? My cats are named Sushi and Maki. (Maki is Japanese for “roll” when you’re getting a sushi roll.) I LOVE SEAFOOD. The only things (that we westerners will typically eat) that I don’t go for are Octopus and Squid. I don’t like rubber-y textured foods. But otherwise, Bring. It. On.

    FISH ME! I like fish as long as it doesn’t taste like fish. : ) I usually lie and say I’m allergic to shellfish so I don’t have to eat it. : )

    fish me! I lovelovelove fish, I could give up all other forms of meat, but never seafood! ps Charley Harper is so so great! his art is the theme of my 2 yr old daughters room.

    FISH ME all the time — I have been slowly expanding, but I don’t think there’s anything I don’t like so far. Sushi, lobster, yum.

    FISH ME! I eat any kind of fish but the best seafood is steamed crabs… My family and I eat them every 4th of July with our neighbors and for us, it’s better than any other holiday gathering

    Fish me! Hated seafood and never touched it up until a few years ago. I’ve since deloped an intense love for lobster, crab, salmon, and calamari. Everything else is for the birds.
