Just as Holly guessed during last week’s winner post, our latest giveaway is indeed from our friends at Z Gallerie. They’re back after their much loved freebie last May to put a little sparkle in your holiday season. While the big Zee-G has tons of glittery items for your house, your tree and even your dining table, we somehow managed to comb through all the eye candy and pick out a collection of our absolute favorite holiday items. So here’s what this week’s winner will be snagging:
The Z Gallerie holiday prize pack includes: two ribbed Antique Mercury Votive Cups, a silver Antique Mercury Hurricane and a set of four Puccini Hiball glasses. We love them because not only do they provide a touch of holiday glam to a dining or console table, you can even get away with breaking them out during the other 11 months of the year. And if they look familiar it’s because Z Gallerie kindly sent a set our way (and we whipped them out for this Thanksgiving decor post a few weeks back).
So how do you get your hands on this sparkly set of holiday cheer? Here’s the 4-1-1:
- PRIZE: Two ribbed Antique Mercury Votive Cups, a silver Antique Mercury Hurricane and a set of four Puccini Hiball glasses from Z Gallerie
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “Z ME!” and…
- BONUS QUESTION: …tell us if you plan to entertain people at your home this holiday season OR if you prefer to be entertained at someone else’s house. And either way, do you have any tips for being a great host and/or courteous guest?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, December 2nd at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: United States only
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

I prefer to entertain during the holidays – the act of cooking all sorts of goodies, lighting a fire and giving small gifts to those who I love just makes me feel good inside. I never feel more in the Christmas spirit than when I’m entertaining in my home!
Courtenay G says
Z me! No entertaining this year…we had a baby 2 weeks ago:-) We will be going to the Rents house instead!

Z Me! I prefer to entertain at my home, but I will not be doing that this holiday season. I will be visiting my parents and in-laws and they will be entertaining us. Oh well, maybe next year!
Beth says
Z Me! My husband, two kids and I are having our first Christmas alone together without relatives. Yea!

The entertaining will be done by my parents, but these would look awesome in my house when people come over to visit!

I love to entertain and be entertained. Last year my husband and I hosted 3 get togethers: a cocktail party, a brunch and then Christmas Day at our house! We alternate years for Christmas Day with the in-laws, so this is our year off which I should just enjoy, but I find myself getting the itch to entertain with some sort of get together … hmmm, I’d better decide in the next day or two if and what it will be!

I’d rather entertain at my home, but I often end up going to friend’s places as well!

we always do a huge family dinner on christmas eve, which is usually followed by a food coma and then later lots of board games.

Z Me (please)!!!!
I love hosting, although I am somewhat releived that this year my job is only Christmas brunch…last year was Christmas Eve for both my family and the inlaws, and to say it got totally out of hand would be putting it mildly!
Sunny's Life in Rehab says
Z ME! We’ll be doing some entertaining around the drop cloths and fire reconstruction. A little smokey smell doesn’t stop us!
Melissa says
ZMe! I would love these items to help decorate for the guests coming to my house this year for Christmas. It will be a first for me, usually we go to my in-laws…but since I am too close to my due date to travel, they are coming to us!!!!

We’ll be in the mountains with my inlaws this year. I’ve only actually entertained for 2 Christmases (no Thanksgivings) and I frankly don’t enjoy it. I think it’s more a factor of the homes we’ve had – our first didn’t have enough seating, and our second is too out of the way to be conducive to guests unless they stay the night. And 8 people overnight in our house is NOT comfortable.
*crosses fingers hoping to someday enjoy holiday entertaining*
Heather says
Z Me! Like to do both!
Sarah says
Z ME… Our relatives are coming over for Christmas day this year. Everyone usually bring something for the meal, so it makes hosting relatively easy!
April in CT says
Z ME! I’ll take either! I love having people over and once I got the best compliment “I feel like I’m at home here.” and that made my heart smile. I also love being the guest as well and enjoying someones hospitality.

I love to enterain at home. We have family over for Christmas breakfast. I try and make our house a relaxing & comfortable atmosphere for everyone- nothing formal.

I love hosting. We got Thanksgiving this year so Christmas will be at the parents’ house. The best hosting trick is to have lots of fun sample size bath accessorizes (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, bath gel, etc.) available to guests as well as big comfy towels ready. It makes staying over at someone else place that much more fun!!
shermi says
Z ME! I plan to host a small gathering of girlfriends for my birthday on the 20th, but Christmas is always spent at my mother’s house. As both hostess and a guest I think baked goods are always a great gift.

I love love love to entertain during the holidays(anytime really:)).
I spend tons of time decorating my entire house with everything Christmas – and I love to share it with friends and family. Having everyone I love gather for food and fun and Christmas..this is not my favorite time of the year for no reason. Happy Holidays.

I absolutely love entertaining, but this year the gatherings are pretty much nonexistent as I have to live in a small apartment close to the school I am going to :(

We prefer to stay home, but we love to bring host/hostess gifts to parties and dinners that surround the holidays. We tend to bring flowers, homemade snack mixes (which we pack in pretty packaging, or a great coffee-lover gift bag (filled with a few gourmet coffees and snacks that go well with them). We like to choose snacks that our host/hostess can enjoy the day after a party!

My husband and I love to entertain on Christmas Eve. Last year we had 34 including 14 children. We always make Christmas Crackers-the little packages that open with a loud pop- a part of our table decor on Christmas eve. Everyone opens them at the same time and puts on the silly hats inside and sings Christmas carols. Good fun.
Lauren H says
Z ME! We have been renovating our kitchen, so we currently don’t have anything to cook on or appliances to cook with. We definitely hope to be entertained this year…next year will be our turn!

“Z me!”. Few guests, but glam house anyway. I do it for me!

Z ME! I love these items! They would match our silver/blue/white theme that we go with every year…from our tree to decorations, and even down to switching out our curtains and accessories- every area becomes a winter wonderland. A number of years back, we started having laid back, get-togethers with our local and out-of-town friends. It’s become a Christmas tradition that we all look forward to. It’s a great time to relax, have some drinks, and catch up during this busy time.

With Christmas, my birthday, New Year’s Eve and our first wedding anniversary all occuring within 1 short week – we will be doing a little bit of everything – hosting parties, celebrating with family, dinners, cocktail, etc. The reasons for celebration just don’t stop this holiday season!
Rebie says
Z ME!! When I buy a house I know I will love hosting.
Christine says
Z ME!! I love hosting, but we’re not quite to the hosting-family-Christmas stage yet!

I would love to entertain, however we are the furthest away from our families (Rahway, NJ to Hershey, PA is a 3 hour hike for 20 people!) so we make it easy for everyone and go to them. Plus, we only have seating for 4 people in our house so that’s definitely an issue!
Beth says
Z ME (pretty please)!
I love hosting – and I always try to do as much beforehand that I can so that I have time to enjoy my guests! All dishes down, food either in the oven or ready to go there, table is set, wine/appetizers ready to be dug into and coffee ready to brew! It is no fun to spend the entire evening in the kitchen!
Nicole says

This year two Christmas meals will be away from home at my parent’s and cousin’s house, but I’ll be doing lots of cooking! The dinner place for my husband’s family hasn’t been decided, but I’m willing to host. I’m choosing cookie recipes now.
Amy says

We’re traveling this year, down to your neck of the woods in Richmond. As a guest, I like to bring a dish that requires little prep/heating and stay out of the hostess’ kitchen! Nothing bothers me more than too many “helping” hands. :-)
