Fab Freebie: It’s A One-derful Life

Toss on some old clothes, because four of you are about to get painting. This week’s giveaway will cover everything you’ll need, starting with $60 worth of Olympic ONE paint. ONE is Olympic’s new paint + primer in… wait for it… one. It hides stains, resists mildew, and survives scrubbing. And at about $25 per can, you’ll be able to score at least two cans with your prize (and maybe even an extra quart).

But you can’t paint without the proper supplies, so the folks over at StackExchange are also hooking up our four lucky winners with a bunch of stuff that we hand-picked for ya (cause we paint kind of a lot, actually). So we know good rollers, Frog Tape, a drop cloth, and a short handled brush can come in handy. If you still need another boost to get painting, head over to one of StackExchange’s 50+ community-driven Q&A sites. Their DIY channel in particular is always abuzz with topics like “What is low VOC paint?” or “Can you paint a popcorn ceiling?”

    One thing I want to know it…
    How do you know you’re gonna love the paint color you’ve chosen once it’s on the walls?? This prize will help me get the ball rolling in painting the dining room but I am having the hardest time settling on a color!!

    ONE THING I WANT TO KNOW IS – will we ever get to finish the laminate flooring we started putting down this weekend? It started raining Sunday (power tools outside + rain = no good) and it’s supposed to rain again all weekend. The house is a mess from having to move everything out of the rooms. Rain rain go away!

    ONE THING I WANT TO KNOW IS… how to fix an old school rocking chair(one with the rods in the back) that we have. Ha! So ironic to see today’s post. The one we have seemed unstable when it was given to us with our first baby. We have had it break twice. Once with my mom and the other time with my brother!

    ONE THING I WANT TO KNOW IS…am i going to completely loose my mind when we have to move into my in-laws place for the next 4 months- with a toddler, being pregnant, and trying to get ready for a cross state move? Well i guess that wouldn’t be the end of the world, crazy people always seem to have the most creative ideas:)

    i would like to know who really killed JFK. my father had tons of conspiracy theories and i really just wonder. also -where the pyramids built by aliens? are they watching us now and puzzled at where we are headed? way more than one thing….i have lots of questions…

    One thing I want to know is…is your Moonshine paint a green or blue undertone? Because my monitor made it seem blue-ish, but the lights of Ace Hardware made it look green, and now I have no idea. :)

    Also. Oh my GOD could I ever benefit from this. I just completely dried up my home improvement fund renovating my half bath and all I want to do for my next several projects is paint paint paint. In theory painting isn’t that expensive but I know it can add up so winning this package would be a game changer for me and make me SO HAPPY. Thank you for the opportunity!
