Now that the Christmas countdown clock has ticked to 67 days left, how ’bout we announced who random.org selected for this prize? That lucky person is… Janaya McKeon (who is “crazy excited for my husband and I to share our very first Christmas together as a married couple, and dreading the inevitable weight gain that accompanies me.”) Congrats Janaya!

I’m excited to have my family together, and to celebrate the news that my sister is expecting her first baby. I normally dread the stress of the holidays, but I am working hard to plan ahead, and to just relax and remember that it’s about family, friends, food, and fun. No need to stress out with such an abundance of love in my life.

TINY ME! I’m excited for decorating for Christmas – always a favorite part of the holidays for me!

TINY ME!!! I’m both looking forward to and getting nervous (dreading seems too powerful a word) about the arrival of our third little boy. He’s due in between Christmas and New Years and while I’m super excited to meet him, I’m really nervous about when it will happen and how we’ll work around all the holiday festivities.

TINY ME! I think the thing that I am most excited about is Christmas at my job. You may laugh and think–weird! But because I work at Whole Foods Market, I just love the holidays at the ol’ grocery store. It always smells great coming to work, it’s consistently busy so the time goes by fast, holiday music 24/7, yummy food galore….the list goes on and on. I just love the holidays at my job.
Even though I hate to say it–I’m really dreading traveling over the holidays. Only cause my better half’s fam is in New England and it always takes us a million zillion hours to get through NYC to get home. It’s just too many cars! And my poor pooch hates the car so it always turns into a drama fest. But it’s worth it because my love’s mother is the GREATEST BAKER EVER. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. :):)
Rebecca says
Tiny me!! I love absolutely everything about the holidays; gifting, visiting, cooking, eating, snuggling…except for all the snow! I hate shoveling, scraping my car after a long day at work, and trying not to fall when I’m out walking on all the ice and slush.

However, we’re expecting our baby at the very end of November, and I’m nervous about how we’ll manage to keep up with all of the Christmas activities for our four-year-old while adjusting to having a new baby around!

TINY ME! I am so excited for my first winter in my first house! We just bought a house this year and I am eager to find a way to make it festive just for me. This is my third winter away from friends and family in the UK, which is difficult, but it’s hard not to be positive when holidays are picture perfect and are usually snowy. It’s a shame I can’t make it to my home’land’ but I can definitely try to recreate my childhood magic here – not looking forward to what the cost of that will be though. ;)
