    I’ll be honest!

    And I work in law enforcement so this is a pretty easy one for me- I wish that all criminals had to be honest when being questioned about their offenses. Most of them could convince their own mothers that they weren’t there on the day they were born.

    I’ll be honest! Sometimes unadulterated honesty can be a bit much – biting your tongue or a little white lie can be ideal in some situations.

    I AM the favorite child so I don’t need my parents to fess up about that, but I wish they’d quit lying to the sibs about who their REAL fav is. ;-) haha! if only!

    I’LL BE HONEST! I wish political candidates had to be straightforward, 100% truth! HAHA! Also wish they’d focus only on their truths and not the other candidates lies. Wouldn’t that be refreshing! :)

    I wish people would be real about their own kids behavior and performance. I hate when my students’ parents don’t really admit what the problem is or what works–instead making it my fault.

    Wish people would just shoot straight in their communication rather than trying to placate someone or avoid an issue with a less-than-honest version of the truth. Sure makes for a lot of problems when there’s more than one version of a story to go around!

    I’ll be honest!

    I wish people would be honest when selling a house. Our inspection didn’t find the water leak in the finished basement, but it became obvious after closing that the old owners definitely knew of the problem. Urgh.

    I’LL BE HONEST! I wish celebrities would be honest about how they keep themselves in shape! They always seem to give some canned response like “yoga three times a week”- I’m just not buying that!
