***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***
Thanks to random.org’s, our three winners are Jane (who considers herself an accomplished doodler – especially during a meeting), Molly T (who dubbed herself the least crafty person ever) and Lizz (who’s no artist, but is killer at Pictionary). Congrats ladies!
You guys probably know Freshline Illustration from our monthly sponsor shout outs, but soon three of you will know them as the ones who hooked you up with some sweet art / pillows / stationery for your own home. And many of Freshline’s colorful and playful illustrations can be personalized with monograms, anniversary dates, or even your full family tree.
- PRIZE: A $50 gift card towards any purchase from Freshline Illustration
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “DRAW ME!” and…
- BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your drawing skills. Are you a trained artist or the last one picked during a game of Pictionary? Either way, what’s your favorite thing to sketch or draw? Maybe you’re especially skilled at human portraits – or you just like to doodle your name in the margins.
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 2nd at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: Three
- PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

DRAW ME!!
In 6th grade I won a drawing contest for best t-shirt design. I drew my mother’s inspiration for my name…she got it off of an episode of the love boat! I’m not sure why but the teacher liked my boat covered in hearts.

DRAW ME!
I can draw stick people, and that’s about it….
Rachel says
DRAW ME! When I was a child my father would bring home used computer paper (the old school kind with the holes down both sides) that had been discarded at his work. We would spend hours drawing on the blank side. It was such a part of my childhood I was always confused when I visited my friends’ houses and they didn’t have an answer to “Where are your art supplies?” I still love to draw today.

DRAW ME!
I’m…. well… I like art. I love looking at art. I love having art in my house, viewing it in galleries and even discussing it.
But when it comes to DOING it… well.. I can use Creative Suite and I know how to pick up a pencil or a piece of charcoal but… that’s about where the talent ends!
petra says

Draw ME!
I used to love to draw, although I was never that good at it. Drawing is one of those little things that grown-up stuff like work and cleaning and playing on the internet edges out.

i never realized (all through art school) that the best way to make your drawing skillz seem extra rad is to show them off to kids. now that i’m teaching (here in spain), i get to draw giraffes, robots, animals, families, yada yada–and i’ve never had my skills admired so much before! it’s all about the audience!

Kelsey says
DRAW ME! I can hold my own in Pictionary, and I have to say that my 2-year-old son’s obsession with the magnadoodle is helping me brush up on my drawing skills. Specialties lately include semi trucks and dinosaurs. :)
Helen (Switzerland) says
DRAW ME! I love the Freshline drawings which remind me of the designs on some wonderful fragments 1930’s scarves found stuffed in the gaps in the walls of a house we’re (slowly) renovating. One way of keeping out the drafts! My drawing skills are nil, but it doesn’t stop me from trying and admiring the work of those that can!!
August Rhodes says

DRAW ME!
I am not an artist by any standard -my 6th graders ruthlessly taunt me when I am forced to illustrate on the chalkboard! (And I come from a family of 2 artists -must only run on the male side.) I doodle mostly flowers and insects. I once got my friend’s boyfriend in trouble -I had doodled on their telephone pad, & she thought he had some female company over!
