Lulu & Georgia is an online decor boutique that recently marked their first anniversary – and to celebrate, someone’s getting $500 to spend on their stylish assortment of rugs, pillows, and other home decor. The site’s name is a feminine spin on the founder’s grandfathers (Lou and George) and that angle continues to products they carry, which cover the gamut from fresh and girly to rustic and industrial (there’s enough ceramic and gold to keep Sherry happy for a very long time – especially in their gifts section). Oh and they’re giving everyone 20% off now through November 7th with the code YOUNGHOUSELOVE20.
Please use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter (it might take a second to load, but it should eventually pop up below this paragraph). This giveaway is available to residents of the United States (although we do have an international giveaway lined up for next week).

The first few times with the rafflecopter giveaways they loaded fine for me, but the last several haven’t, even when I wait like five minutes. Not sure why, my internet is fairly fast. I’m using windows 8 and it can still be weird with some websites so that could be it? Anyway just thought I’d let y’all know!
YoungHouseLove says
So sorry Anna-Lisa! Anyone else having an issue? Perhaps if you’re trying to enter right after we post (we just put this up a few minutes ago) the system is overloaded and takes longer? I’d just try coming back in an hour or so and reloading to see if it pops right up.

Just curious, but do you email winners or do we need to check back to see if we’ve won? I always try to do that anyway, but it would be comforting to know for sure if I’m missing anything amazing. (Amazing would be if I won, which I know is unlikely, but someone has to win everytime, right?)Thanks!
YoungHouseLove says
Yes, we always email the winners but sometimes things go to spam, so it never hurts to click back to see if your name is staring back at you!

Melissa @ Loving Here says
Thanks! And yes, I’ll keep checking, if no other reason than to just stare at the eye candy more!
Kara says
Thanks – I’ve always wondered this too. I like it when you post the linkback to this page on your Friday posts, when you mention the Forums. It makes it easier to try find this page than to try to click back through the pages finding the right Freebie post.
YoungHouseLove says
Thanks Kara! We try to do that each week for you guys, just to make it easier.

seriously diggin on all those ceramic jewelry holders and containers!

Sorry this is wayyy off topic–but did you like having marble floor tiles in your first bathroom? I really love that look and am considering granite floor tiles, but am concerned about the maintenance/slip factor. Any insight would be really helpful–I actually don’t know anyone else with natural stone in their bathrooms…. thanks!
YoungHouseLove says
Ours were great! We had no issues with slipping, but I imagine some types might be more slick than others.

Redoing the family room. I could use a rug and some other things.

I’m a long-time reader, and I’ve never commented before. I had to comment this time because I laughed out loud when I read the name of this boutique. My grandparents’ names are George and Lulu. My mom is their daughter, and her name is Georgia. “Lulu and Georgia” That’s awesome!
John and Sherry, keep up the great work! This blog is so informative, professional and fun. It’s obvious you pour so much love, hard work and dedication into it. Your readers appreciate it :)
YoungHouseLove says
Aw thanks Amanda, you’re so sweet. And that’s too funny about their names.

I just wanted to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you guys make entering contests like these so simple – I’m starting to not enter contests that make you “Like” 30 different pages, leave comments, post to Instagram, etc – one and done! Keep it simple! Thanks!
Daryl @ Cape Coral builders says
It looks like they have some great items at Lulu & Georgia. I like the rustic rams head.

Shoot! All I’m seeing is a link that says, “Click to view Rafflecopter widget” and when I click it it goes to Rafflecopter.com. :( Anyone else experiencing this?
YoungHouseLove says
Weird!! Anyone else having this issue? Maybe try clicking on the title of this post and then seeing if it loads (if you’re on the main page, sometimes clicking into that post can help).

Sarah says
I’m on the actual post, not the main page. It had the same link yesterday so I checked back today. Oh well, I’m just a little giddy that I got a reply from you Sherry! I read your blog every day but that was my first comment (I know, I’m a lurker). You guys are the best!
YoungHouseLove says
Aw, you’re so sweet, but I’m so sorry about that Sarah! Maybe if you try a different browser it’ll work? Like Firefox if you’re in Explorer. Or perhaps if you’re at work they have blocked Rafflecopter for some reason?

Oh my god. We won! We never win anything! How exciting!
My husband and I just want to say thank you so much for the lovely blog and hosting this giveaway! We’re in the process of decorating/fixing up our first home: a ranch style home built in 1952. The house only had one owner, so we’re slowly updating the home to have fresh paint, grounded outlets, etc. The “feel” of the home matches our midcentury modern design aesthetic and these treats from Lulu & Georgia are going to really help us fill it out! Maybe we’ll snag a rug or two! Ooo hoo! Thanks again!
