As our time in Portland comes to an end, we’re excited to share that the random winner of this very Oregonian prize is… Joyce (who would go all the way back to the late 1700s to check out the Constitutional Convention). Congrats Joyce!
Since we’re headed to Oregon this week, we thought we’d send a little bit of Oregon your way in return. So how does $500 in product from Portland-based Rejuvenation sound? They started off as an architectural salvage shop, but now they serve up authentic lighting, hardware, and other home staples from a whole slew of time periods and styles. We’re hoping to make an in-person stop at their store while in PDX, but for everyone else there’s plenty to browse online and by catalog. And with a handful of benjamins at your disposal, this is your shot to get a real statement piece for your space.
- PRIZE: $500 to spend at Rejuvenation
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “REJUVENATE ME” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … if you could travel back in time and live in any previous era, what would you choose? Wanna live (or relive) the 60’s or 70’s love-fest? Prefer to try on the glam flapper days of the 20’s? Or do you want to go really old school and see how the colonists lived?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, February 22nd at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States or Canada (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Rejuvenation.

Rejuvenate Me!!
The Roaring 20’s or the 40’s during the Hollywood Glam era would be neat. I like days when craftsmanship and tailoring were considered art and a vied skill.

REJUVENATE ME! . . . please.
I’d pick the 1930s. The 20s have a lovely design aesthetic, too, but I don’t have the build to pull off the “flapper” look; so the 1930s would let me have my cake and eat it too . . . literally.
Lisa Hale says

Ever since I got a Kindle and realized that no one could see what I was reading, I started reading trashy historical romances. Kind of obsessed with the Victorian era lately. Shhh…

REJUVENATE ME! If I could go back in time, I’d go back to the moment of my birth. Would love to experience my families reaction to my coming into the world. To experience the world around me, back in 1956. I’m African American and wouldn’t want to go back any further to live through certain prejudice and a third class existance. I thank God for 2012!

Rejuvenate me! I would go back to the 1920s and not just because you wrote that…but because as a history teacher I have always said it is an era that changed us. Women changed so much, then there was music and movies, socially we were a different place! I think it would be neat to see all that.

Hey young house love, REJUVENATE ME!
If I could go back in time, I’d love to be in my twenties in the 1960’s. What a period to learn about the United States, stand up for what you believe in, and feel free to live your life according to your own morals and standards! I love watching movies or reading books that take place in the late 60’s, early 70’s. The fashion is inspiring, the stories are inspiring, and the interior design is so bright and cheery.
Love the blog, keep it coming!
Madelyn

REJUVENATE ME! I’m a huge fan of Rejuvenation, I could spend hours in their store. Still have a lot of lights to upgrade in our house so $500 would go a long way…..
Not sure that I would want to live in any other time period than right now, but it would be interesting to visit pretty much any other decade for a little while at least.
