Wow. You guys are a lot more opinionated about the periodic table than I had assumed. Anyways, random.org selected the winner of this giveaway as… Andi W. (who likes Sodium for all of the salty snacks it provides, but admitted “My inner nerd wants to vote adamantium.”) Congrats Andi!

    Mg Me! I am Magnesium. (Mg12). I am tough in form and rugged by forge, but explosive in the right element with my anger burning bright, but once expended, I am extinguished quickly, as if nothing went wrong. Then, I am back to rugged!

    I don’t know if Titanium is on the periodic table (I’m a poet, not a scientist), but since that is what they put inside me to repair a broken bone, I guess I’ll go with that for a fave. Either that or adamantium the fictional indestructible metal that is Wolverine’s claws.

    I vote for Si (Silicon). A kid in my 8th grade science class wrote a song about it and I still get it stuck in my head to this day – only about 20 years later. Plus, it’s pretty useful in glass, bricks, etc.

    Since we’re less than a week away from July and the Fourth is my favorite holiday, I’ll say Americium (Am) is my favorite element! I like to think they use it in fireworks :)

    Mg ME!

    My favorite is H20. I picked water because it is not just one element but a compound. Which takes me back to my high schools days and me dreading chemistry, but I had a super cool teacher (hi Mrs.Hughes)that made chemisrty so fun, easy and interesting, that I actually considered becoming a chemist for a while lol. The compounds were always my favorite because I guess I enjoy creating and that’s just what a compound is, a joint venture between two elements.

    Avid oreck fan and I trust the quality of this brand. It would be nice to have a new oreck since the one the we are currently using was a wedding gift..10 years ago!
