Fab Freebie: More Than Words

This week’s pair of prizes (for a pair of winners, no less) come from two Etsy sellers who have a way with words. Namely, they turn the written word into stylish pieces for your home. The first of which, WordGarden, takes text and graphics to give simple pillows a chic European flair – from bicycles and birdcages to his and hers sets. And two of you will be scoring a pair of pillows in any size and any design.

The other half of this week’s prize comes from Everywhere We Look, who creates book page wreaths that could be right out of Anthropologie. And each of this week’s winners will get a large-sized wreath (i.e over 250 pages turned into a 21″ wreath) that’s custom made just for them.

    WORD ME! It’s very difficult for me to organize my thoughts and put them nicely on paper so when I come across a poem, a quote, a great card that expresses exactly how I feel, I cherish it!

    I really love music, so I’d have to say song lyrics are my fave way for words to be expressed… I also love me some subway art! :)

    I love good old fashioned handwriting. My own hardwriting has always been super inconsistent because I love trying different styles of print, calligraphy, short hand, etc for addressing envelopes and the long lost art
    Of hand written letters. :)

    WORD ME!! :) Those pillows are so awesome!!! Song lyrics are what gets me. I almost always have a song playing in my head. Right now it just so happens to be “Baby got back” haha don’t ask me why it’s completely random

    WORD ME! I’m a lover of books. I work for a publishing house and because of the free books my house is overflowing! I’ve recently considered decoupaging my ikea coffee table with book pages :)

    Song lyrics all the way. It’s how my husband and I met. We love music. I have even incorporated some sweet song lyrics into paintings for my boys rooms.

    I love words written with sparklers that last in the darkness for seconds, so you have catch them quickly!…or take a really cool picture to capture them!

    I love clever artwork using words, playing on words. I think words give so much more to artwork. Giving it a context and focus on why this is so important to the person who owns it.

    I love books of all kinds. I’m not that picky when it comes to the written word. Though I do love typography art. It can be very striking. I’m a sucker for a ‘keep calm and carry on’ poster, I have one in turquoise in our bedroom.
