This week’s pair of prizes (for a pair of winners, no less) come from two Etsy sellers who have a way with words. Namely, they turn the written word into stylish pieces for your home. The first of which, WordGarden, takes text and graphics to give simple pillows a chic European flair – from bicycles and birdcages to his and hers sets. And two of you will be scoring a pair of pillows in any size and any design.

The other half of this week’s prize comes from Everywhere We Look, who creates book page wreaths that could be right out of Anthropologie. And each of this week’s winners will get a large-sized wreath (i.e over 250 pages turned into a 21″ wreath) that’s custom made just for them.

    word up (I mean, me). I love the simplicity of print, especially on pillows. And, for some crazy reason, I am a little obsessed with pillows- there’s no such thing as too many, right?

    WORD ME! I love the printed word in just about all forms, especially with great typography. However, because I’m a bit of a nerd, whenever it’s in Latin, I get especially excited. :)

    I love french words, written in cursive, and lots of them together. I have no idea what they mean. I love them on t-shirts, rugs, prints, etc.

    Song lyrics reach out to me most. I can always find a song (or soundtrack, or album) that relates to my feelings or the stage of life that I’m in. It’s good knowing someone else can relate to how I feel! Lyrics are just so powerful… or maybe I’m just REALLY cheesy!

    WORD ME! I love to read books but what I enjoy the most are the posters that show why grammar should be used. i.e. Let’s eat grandpa! vs. Let’s eat, grandpa! Grammar, saving people’s lives. :)

    I really love typography. my husband is a graphic designer and we can both share our love or it in design & other elements. I’m particularly loving large typographic letters (3d) as home decor right now. :)

    This is gonna sound nuts, but I’m fascinated by the PBS cartoon Word World. I watched it with my niece when she was younger, and thought it was really cool how they made the objects out of the words…

    WORD ME!!! I’m such a sucker for actual in hand novels… anything from Shakespeare to Milton to JK Rowling, I love it all. None of that electronic stuff for me, though! =)

    Like a lot of people on the blogosphere these days, I’m a sucker for typographic art and vintage signs. I know they’re a bit overdone, but I still swoon over massive vintage bus/subway scrolls.
