Thanks to V-Day, we’re straying from our usual home improvement & decor related prizes in favor of some customized and sentimental jewelry from Lisa Leonard Designs. Lisa brings a certain DIY spirit to her necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other body bling – hand cutting, polishing, and assembling each piece carefully for that “made with love” feeling. She actually helped us celebrate V-day last year by giving away $100 gift cards to two winners – and this year she’s raising the stakes and giving away THREE benjamins worth of her meaningful designs to three random lucky winners.     We actually celebrate on the 13th because that is the anniversary of our first date (awwwww) – breakfast out (I had an exam to take in the evening), some shopping (HOMEGOODS!), and fancy chocolates for dessert (and a balloon from my 4 year old)

    My husband and I don’t usually have elaborate Valentine’s day celebrations since my birthday falls 5 days later. This year, we’re headed to BJ’s Brewhouse because they are offering a “Meal for 2” for $19.95. We’re all about a deal!

    Happy Valentine’s Day!

    We celebrated yesterday with our daughter and my father in law. I made crepes for breakfast then made cornish game hens, bread, and a nice salad for dinner. I prefer to cook and spend the night as a family with a good glass of wine.

    Happy Valentine’s Day!
    I work during the day and my husband works nights. We have a few busy weekends coming up, so we won’t be celebrating Valentines Day until March 12th! But we’re looking forward to recreating a seafood buffet at home, and renting a movie for a much more casual ‘dinner and a movie’ date night.

    Happy valentines day!

    My valentines plans are just hanging out with my little toddler per usual. Maybe we’ll get a call from her daddy. He is deployed right now so all Vday plans are put off til RnR :)

    We’ve been enjoying the valentines day episodes of caillou though :)

    My long term (7 year) boyfriend and I have endured a 6 of those years long distance. Go us! Sadly, we are never together for Valentines day so I will be studying for an exam tonight and the boyfriend will be doing is usual thing. Six hours away from me. :*(
