Thanks to V-Day, we’re straying from our usual home improvement & decor related prizes in favor of some customized and sentimental jewelry from Lisa Leonard Designs. Lisa brings a certain DIY spirit to her necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other body bling – hand cutting, polishing, and assembling each piece carefully for that “made with love” feeling. She actually helped us celebrate V-day last year by giving away $100 gift cards to two winners – and this year she’s raising the stakes and giving away THREE benjamins worth of her meaningful designs to three random lucky winners.     Happy Valentines Day!!

    Spending tonight with my amazing husband and we are doing an early dinner and then watching a movie!! Keeping it low key because I am 35 weeks along with our first little one and pretty much exhausted all the time now :) I will be lucky if I don’t fall asleep during dinner…lol.

    HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! I’m celebrating with my husband – it’s our 1st Valentine’s Day as a married couple, and exactly 8 years after our 1st date! Couldn’t be happier. :)

    Happy/Crappy Valentine’s day. Normally I spend this day with my 2 kids and hubby (our 11th Valentine’s Day together) but my great grandmother passed away on Thursday. We will be with family and friends at her memorial and remembering her 102 years of life.

    HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! I’ll be celebrating with my hubby of 10 years. We started a big home organization project yesterday and will work some more on it this evening. Not anything exciting but we feel so much better when we see progress. Plus, I think it brings us closer because we are fighting the clutter as a unified front. It always feels better to tag-team a project. =)

    Happy Valentine’s Day!

    The hubby and I are going to attempt some donut making — hopefully without burning down the kitchen this year. On Feb. 13 last year, I sorta kinda didn’t turn the stove off (it was an old stove! Hard to tell when it’s completely off!) and literally set the stove and above cabinets on fire. One year and a new kitchen later, we’re going for a redo with a bit more caution!
