My favorite piece of original art is one of the white metal signs we stuck in the ground to direct our wedding guests to our country reception. We cut off the legs, so now it’s an understated piece of art with our names and wedding date laser cut out.

I have two paintings by an artist named Marion Howard. She’s an artist out of New Jersey and I love her painting style. My favorite is one of a little boy who is looking over his mother’s shoulder. You only see his eyes and a 1/3 profile of his mother’s face. It’s beautiful and I love it immensely.

My favorite piece(s) of one of a kind art are two sketches that my husband and I had done of ourselves while in New Orleans for his grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary. They were done on the day of their 60th anniversary and dated such in the corner of the sketches. Such a great keepsake from such a wonderful occasion!

My favorite piece of artwork is one that my friends (one of whom is in architecture and design)made me for my bridal shower in May. My new last name is spelled out on a red background, and each letter is from something significant to my friends and I. For example, we used to have game nights all the time in high school and college, so the “C” in the photo is a black and white version of the “C” from the Cranium game!
