The randomly selected party girl (or guy) this week is… Mackenzie (who said “In 2 weeks I am attending a welcome home party for the return of two very close friends who just got done completing service in The Dominican Republic through The Peace Corp!”). Congrats!
Clara’s turning three in two short weeks, which means our minds are shifting into birthday party mode. And to get the celebration started early, we’re dishing out $500 worth of festive party supplies to one lucky winner. First we have $250 to SmashCake And Co, where you can stock up on everything from pretty paper straws to milk glass cake stands.
Next up is $150 to spend at Lindsay Letters, a shop full of beautifully handwritten prints, canvasses, stamps, and other dreamy goodies. She has a whole section labelled for babies and kids, but don’t let that hold you back from hanging her stuff in an adult space (we think it would look good anywhere).
And finally we’ve got $100 to spent at Dino Cape, where Clara got one of her favorite accessories. We bought her a cape from this Etsy vendor because of her recent fascination with dragons (they’re kinda like dinosaurs, right?) and she’s obsessed with it. A hundred bucks to spend there is enough to score some for your kiddos/nieces/nephews – or a matching pair for you and your spouse’s next Game Of Thrones themed costume party.
- PRIZE: A $250 gift card to SmashCake And Co, $150 to Lindsay Letters, and $100 to DinoCapes
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “PARTY TIME” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … what occasion you’ve celebrated recently or will be celebrating soon. Is there a birthday in your family coming up? Maybe you just threw an anniversary or housewarming party? Or are you just getting ready for a nice low key Mother’s Day next month?
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: This prize ships anywhere in the world!
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, May 1st or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)

We just celebrated my husband’s birthday while in Mexico for a friends wedding. Because I couldn’t bake him a cake while there, I snuck out of the room early in the morning and got a big stack pancakes from the buffet and covered them in candles I had stowed away in my suitcase for the occasion. He got to blow out the candles on his birthday panCAKE and started a wonderful birthday off right!

We are celebrating my mom’s birthday AND Mother’s day the weekend of the 11th. We recently finished throwing my baby girl’s second birthday bash. I love making a big deal out of it because kids enjoy it so much. Next is my birthday and Mother’s Day (same day) but that will be low key. Then (a few weeks before I have baby girl #2) I am throwing my sisters bridal shower, The SmackCake Studio would be perfect for this. And the LindsayLetters would be great as final touches to the new nursery that we are decorating. DinoCapes would be the cherry on top!
