First off, thanks for all of the birthday wishes everyone. Second, random.org has selected our winner as… Lee (who just turned 31 and is so far happy with it). That’s good news for us too, since we’re both staring down at 31 now. Congrats Lee!
Guess what today is? Sherry’s 30th birthday! And to celebrate, Crate & Barrel is gonna give one of you a Benjamin to spend for every decade that Sherry’s been alive (that’s $300 in case your math skills are in a post-lunch slump). And that’s not the only thing Crate & Barrel is giving away these days. They’re also in the midst of their Pick Your Page sweepstakes where one winner will score all of the items featured in any spread from their new Spring catalog. That could earn you up to $15,000 worth of crate-y, barrel-y goodness! So feel free to pop over there to get in on that giveaway too.
- PRIZE: A $300 gift card to Crate & Barrel
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “AGE ME” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … if you could pick your age, what would you magically like to return to (or travel to the future for)? Would you love to be 11 again? Or would you give anything to relive your early 20s? Maybe you just can’t wait to settle into a relaxing retired life in your 60s or 70s?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 21st at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Crate & Barrel.

AGE ME!
Part of me would love to go back to college and know what I know now! The bigger part of me would love to be 33 (I am currently 31), my husband will finally be done with surgery residency/fellowship and hopefully we will finally have a baby in our arms!

AGE ME .. to maybe 30? I’m pretty happy with 34, but 30 was not so significantly different and hey why not get younger? :) I’d pick an age like 5 or so, but then I’d have to repeat the rest of the years in between then and now, so no thanks!
Sarah G. says
AGE ME – I just turned 30 and it’s going really well but I think I could redo some early 20s … maybe 24. Just go really crazy this time! ;D
Stefanie Decker says

“AGE ME”
If it were just for a few days and I could keep all my current memories, I think it’d be cool to experience 10 or 13 again for comparison.

AGE ME! I would love to be 5 again, old enough to be able to be independent and have fun in school, but young enough to have summers off, no homework and be able to play outside all day!
Kristin says
And of course- Happy Birthday Sherry!
Jennifer says
AGE ME – 18 and just out of high school! Take all those interesting courses in college that I would actually appreciate now and travel abroad!!!
Allyson says
I would be twenty two. Right before graduating from college… when I wanted those last few months of my senior year to drag on and last forever. I loved living with my best friends, living in Santa Barbara, and still not quite sure where career and life were going to take me. And, I’d just met who is now my husband…that was twelve years ago!
Emily F. says
AGE ME! While I’m really liking what’s going on in my life right now (age 27), I’d like to go back to the college years (18-22) and redo some of that, particularly the academic part of it. I wish I had done better and thought through my major selection more thoroughly.
Kelly B says
AGE ME!! I never can remember that I’m actually 32 and always tell people I’m 27…. so I guess I’d like to be 27 again.
Jessica says
AGE ME!
I will be 30 on December 29 and think it’s going to make for a fabulous 2013. Twenties are great, but there is something nice about shutting that door and starting a new decade.
Stephanie D. says
AGE ME
I would like to go back to my childhood (8 or 9 years old), but I would only want to stay there for a few days!

AGE ME
I would love to be 5 years old, the same age as my son now. We could be playmates for the day.
Lark says
AGE ME! I always try to embrace every year as it comes, but there are some things I’d like to try over. Like maybe, live in Europe in my 20s.
Gretchen says
AGE ME!
I think the age I would choose would depend on (1) whether I could know then what I know now and (2) whether my return would change where I am now. I’d hate to get to redo college and spend a year abroad, or pass up that crappy, crappy, job that I took right out of school if it meant that I wouldn’t have met my husband, or my dog, or many of my friends. (Although there is a cute boy or two along the way that I wish I’d kissed!)
By the way – Happy Birthday old lady!
JennP says
Age Me!
As much as I love my married-with-kids life, I would love to re-live 16. It was such a carefree time. I also spent a week in Paris with my family that year and didn’t appreciate it nearly enough at the time!
Leah K says
AGE ME! I’d only go back a couple years. If I could magically stay 28 that would be pretty rad.
Trisha says
Age me! I would like to go back to 28, and take more time to enjoy and appreciate having a baby, toddler and preschooler.
Caroline says
Happy Birthday Sherry Girl!
AGE ME!
Although I love my age, I really envy those that are retiring!!
Judy says
AGE ME!
I would totally go back to college. I think I was mature enough to accept who I am, be myself, and live on my own. But life was also blissfully responsibility-free.
Darcy says
AGE ME
I think I would do 25 again… just before the kids were born.. possibly move to another state for a couple years then have my kids back in my home state of AZ
Megan S says
AGE ME! I’m really happy at the age I am now (28) but there are a lot of financial unknowns right now (husband graduating with PhD and my job isn’t secure right now) so if I must pick I would like to see what 32 is like and see where we are then.
Jessica J. says
AGE ME!
I’m looking forward to turning 29 next year.
Kerry says
AGE ME! I’m currently enjoying being 29!
Leanne says
AGE ME! It’s hard to pick an age, but I think I might say that I’d skip 31 and 32 because they’ve been super tough. Reliving my 23rd year – waitressing, summer house at the beach with friends, sounds perfect right about now!
Rachel says
AGE ME!! I don’t really want to go back in time because then I wouldn’t have my son so I’d like to stay where I am (unless I could be a few years younger and still have my son and wonderful husband!!)
Heather says
Age me! I’m fairly content right now being a 27 year old newlywed and I am not quite ready to start getting older & have kids just yet.
Elizabeth P says
Age Me – 28 has been lovely. Celebrating 5 years of marriage, our little boy was born and we’re settled in our own home. Loving life where we’re at!
Jessica says
Age me! I’m turning 30 this year too and actually very excited to start my 30s!
